00:30Hi there, I'm Joe the dog.
00:32Welcome to my house.
00:34It's great to see you.
00:36You know what?
00:38It's great to sniff you too.
00:40You're gonna make so many animals
00:42happy today. Farm animals
00:44and wild animals
00:46and lots of my dog pals will be getting
00:48up close and personal with you.
00:50They'll look at you, they'll talk
00:52to you, they'll even sniff you.
00:54In fact, you'll have them
00:56eating right out of the palm of your hand. In this video, we say please do feed the
01:02animals. All you need is an apple, a bit of grass, a leaf, a dog treat, and a crust
01:09of bread. If you don't have some of these things handy, don't worry. You can just
01:15hold out your hand when the time comes. Here's how this feeding business goes.
01:20When you see the food picture, grab the food that matches the picture, hold out
01:25your hand, and wait for your friend to eat. You are going to have so much fun.
01:33If you think it's a jungle out there, try being here for a little while. We're about
01:41to embark on a wonderful wildlife safari, one where you can see animals from
01:45around the world, and where they can see you too. There's one now.
01:55Oh, hello. Would you like to visit some of my giraffe friends today? I'll take you to
02:05them, but first, I'd like it very much if you could feed me a leaf or two. I'm so hungry.
02:11Nom, nom, nom.
02:13Oh, sour. Stop. All right. Let's go visit my friends. Hmph. When giraffes get together,
02:22it feels like nothing but necks, necks, necks, especially when Jerry is around. He is such
02:28a show-off. Just look at him. Ugh. Well, a giraffe's neck may be really long, but did you
02:34know that it has the same amount of bones in it that your neck has? Yes, just seven, but
02:39they sure are long ones. Oh, Jerry. Our necks helped make us the tallest land animal in
02:49the world, and this, my little cupcakes, comes in very handy for eating. We need to reach
02:54high to get our dinner. Mmm. Yum, yum. Trees are my favorite food. Ugh. Did someone say food? I'm so hungry I could eat a tree.
03:06Well, ciao for now, kids. Speaking of ciao, I was just watching some antelope. Would you like
03:16to watch them with me? Here they are now. I don't like the way that lion is looking at me. Why don't we
03:26take a look at some other antelope while I find a safer place?
03:34Hey, stop sniffing me. Cut the... out. Oh my goodness, I'm so embarrassed. I think, I think that will do it for the antelope part of the video. Cut!
03:44I feel handsome. Oh, so handsome. It's alarming how handsome I feel. I'm looking high and low, but I can't find any animal that is as gorgeous as I am. Can you? Nope. I thought not. Nobody is as handsome as a peacock.
04:05I feel handsome.
04:14I feel handsome.
04:16Do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do.
04:20You know, that peacock doesn't know true beauty when he sees it. Actually, we warthogs don't have very good eyesight, you see. But I know I'm a handsome fellow because my wife tells me that every day. She loves me warts and all.
04:33Do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do. Do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do.
04:41Good day, mate. Hmm. My mum is here somewhere and I'd like you to meet her. Oh, there she is.
04:48Oh, Joey, I'm having a bit of a scratch right now. Perhaps you could hop along and play, eh?
04:53No problem, mum.
04:55Good day. I'm a Siberian tiger,
05:01the largest of all cats. I've been known to eat up to 100 pounds of meat in one sitting. That's about 400 hamburgers.
05:10Mmm. It is now my pleasure to introduce to you some delicious, er, delightful creatures known as meerkats. There they are now.
05:18Hmm. That guy gives me the heebie-jeebies. Think, think, think. Yes, I think I'll join my friends.
05:25Oh, so good to see you guys. Mwah! Mwah! Mwah! Mwah! Mind if I get a family hug?
05:32Oh, look at you! So tall! Oh, I was just kind of wondering if, um, well, you're having fun, hmm? Are you? I sure am. And I think you'll enjoy what's coming up next, too. Hmm. Whoa. I like your shirt. Those buttons edible?
05:50Hello there. So good to see you. I'd like to recite a poem about elephants. I wrote it just for you. Are you ready?
05:59I'm an African elephant. How can you tell? My ears are big and shaped like Africa as well.
06:04Well, well, well. Well, well, well, well. Well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well.
06:09An elephant's skin is a sight to behold. It may be very wrinkle, but that doesn't mean we're old.
06:13Swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish.
06:18Our trunks are amazing. They feed us like hands. There's lots to eat in Africa's grasslands.
06:22Munch, munch, munch. Munch, munch, munch, munch, munch. Munch, munch, munch, munch, munch, munch.
06:26We're social and gentle and we like to play. When we're together, it's a really good day.
06:31Play, play, play. Play, play, play, play. Play, play, play, play, play, play.
06:35I hope you enjoyed my little poem. Now I'll shuffle off and go back home.
06:40Hmm, hmm, hmm. Hmm, hmm. Hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm. Hmm, hmm, hmm. Hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm.
06:50Ooh. Tui. Stick? What's stick? Mama! A human child is watching me. Mama!
06:58Oh, don't worry about it. You're a gorilla. Why don't you tell the child a little about us gorillas, OK?
07:03OK, Mama. A lot of people think gorillas are fierce and scary, but we're really very gentle and sociable.
07:09and sociable. In fact, we're vegetarians. Vegetarians. That means we eat lots of leaves and fruit, no meat. That's my Uncle Bob. He's very nice. I personally wouldn't hurt a fly, although it might be kind of fun to catch one. I love my mama so much, just like you love yours. She's my pal. Yuck. Wait up, mama.
07:35Mmm. Mmm. Mmm. You smell marvelous. It is now my pleasure, my friend, to sniff, or I mean to introduce to you my good friend, Peter Penguin.
07:52Hey there, kid. Today's your lucky day. I get some extra time on my wings, huh? You want to come with me on a little tour of Penguin Land? Great. Let's go.
08:00This is my house. Some say it's just a hole in the wall, but to me, it's home sweet home.
08:03And now we're coming to the house of my great friend, Peggy. Come on now, Peg. Come on. Say hi to everybody. Come on. Come on. Hurry up.
08:10Uh, hello? Who on earth am I saying hello to? Hmm.
08:16Okay, I'm going to go in for a little swim now. Hey, hey, watch me, everyone. Watch me. This is really good. Is everyone watching? Are you watching, Peggy? Watch me. Here I go. Here I go. Whee!
08:23Huh. Where did he go? Oh, it's getting a little warm in the old condo here. I wonder where everyone is. Ah, they must be at the swimming hole. I kind of feel like doing the penguin paddle myself.
08:39One, two, three. Hey, Pauly. Glad you could join us. You too, Pat. Hey, let's go hiking, huh?
08:49Mm-hmm. A little bit of a bump there.
08:52One, two. I'm going to do it. Ah!
09:00Ooh-hoo-wee! Hey, where are we going, anyway? I don't know, but I hope we find some fish. I'm hungry.
09:12Oh, a hike and we will go. A hike and we will go. Oh, yes, sirree. I love being a leader. My friends obey everything I say.
09:18Okay, everybody. Stop while I scratch.
09:26Hmm. Where'd everybody go?
09:30I am a rhinoceros, and I love to get muddy. Mud keeps me cool and protects my beautiful tank-like body from the sun's harsh rays.
09:39But I am a special rhino, and I have a talent I think you will love. I will show you what I mean. Follow me. This way.
10:00Oh, there you are. Hello. Thank you for joining me.
10:08Pardon the chewing, but I'm ruminating right now.
10:11That means I'm chewing something I've already swallowed. Go figure.
10:15Anyhow, today I am going to ruminate in another way about an animal that I, and many others, consider to be the most truly amazing creature in the entire world.
10:26You may have already guessed. Because I know you're very smart. I do. But I'm talking about me, the camel.
10:33Let's take a look at me, hmm? The camel. Regal profile, hmm?
10:39Everything about a camel is perfectly adapted to surviving in the hot, dry climate of the desert.
10:47Why, we can even go an entire winter without taking a drink.
10:52Dromedary camels, like my friends here, have one hump.
10:55Tony, will you stand still a minute and model your hump for the boys and girls, please?
10:59Sure thing, Sam.
11:01Our humps are filled with fat, not water. We can live off that fat until our humps shrink so small they flop over to one side. Not a pretty side.
11:12Well, that's all the time we have today. I hope you've enjoyed, uh, Tony. That's enough posing, Tony boy.
11:18But I love being on camera.
11:20As I was saying, that's all the time. Tony, I'm going to turn off the camera now. Tony.
11:24Go right ahead, but I'll warn you, my fans won't be happy.
11:26Oh, you hairy dromedary.
11:30Camels. Oh, howdy. It was becoming a zoo out there.
11:34So I've decided to take you to one of my favorite places, the farm.
11:38Farm animals set my nose a-quiver.
11:41Nothing makes me quite as giddy as the smell of a horse.
11:45I'm crazy for horses.
11:47Any more horses around here?
11:49Over here!
11:50And I can't wait to get out of here.
11:52I'm going to get out of here and stretch my legs just a little bit, you know?
11:54Mmm. Something sure smells good.
11:59Yeah.
12:00Mmm.
12:01Hey, that's you, kid.
12:03Mmm.
12:04You smell as good as an apple on a crisp fall day.
12:06Yeah.
12:07Mmm.
12:09Finally, I'm free.
12:10Oh, and I've got an itch I've got to take care of.
12:13Oh, right there. Right there.
12:14Mmm.
12:15Almost.
12:15Here.
12:18Mmm.
12:19Yes, I've got it.
12:20I think I've got it.
12:20I think I've got it.
12:21I've got that one on the back.
12:22I think I've got it.
12:23I think I've got it.
12:24I've got this.
12:26Boom.
12:26Oh, that's it.
12:28Oh, man.
12:28One more.
12:29Oh, that felt good.
12:30Oh, yeah.
12:31I'm on a roll now.
12:32One more.
12:35Yes, sir.
12:36Mmm.
12:37I feel good.
12:41Oh.
12:41Oh, you smell so good.
12:45And you taste pretty good, too.
12:48Since you have such good tastes, I think you'll enjoy what's coming up next.
12:52His voice is so dreamy.
12:55Oh.
12:55Bob, Bob, Black Sheep, have you any wool?
13:02Yes, sir.
13:03Yes, sir.
13:05Three bags full.
13:07One for my master.
13:10One for my dame.
13:12One for the little boy who lives down the lane.
13:17My, my, Black Sheep, have you any wool?
13:24Yes, sir.
13:25Yes, sir.
13:26Three bags full.
13:29Actually, Harry, you're brown, not black.
13:33Actually, you're more rust-colored, but not black.
13:38Get out of here.
13:40Well, let him live in his nursery rhyme fantasy.
13:45Oh.
13:47You know, he gives me the woolies.
13:51Hey, being a wool, take a look over there.
13:54I'm going to tell you something about wool.
13:56Oh, trance, I got some on my horn again.
13:59Never fails.
14:00Sheep get all the credit for wool.
14:02We goats make some of the world's most sought-after wool.
14:05Wouldn't you just love to run and jump into a pile of that?
14:08Goat wool comes in all kinds of beautiful colors and textures.
14:12You can make a gorgeous sweater out of this stuff.
14:14In fact, I'm wearing one right now.
14:16Say, where'd Ralph go?
14:19Oh, there you are, Ralph.
14:21Now, that's what I call pulling the wool over your eyes.
14:26Hey, do you know where the starting line for the sheep race is?
14:29Anyone here know?
14:31We're just following each other like a bunch of sheep.
14:34Could someone please tell me where the starting line is?
14:36Aha!
14:38Hey, wait for me!
14:54Animal food.
14:5625 cents.
14:58No!
14:58And I don't have a quarter.
15:00And that food looks so good.
15:02What's a goat to do?
15:04I'm such a clever old goat.
15:07Why didn't I think of this years ago?
15:1025 cents.
15:11Ha!
15:11I'm so itchy, itchy, itchy.
15:18Oh, hello.
15:20I'm just itching to tell you about what's going to happen next.
15:24All I can tell you is to get your apple ready because it's going to be fun.
15:28Right, Fred?
15:29Hey, kid, that's an old goat joke.
15:36Feed me.
15:37Feed me.
15:37Mmm, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum.
15:40Look, I'm being a cow.
15:42Moo!
15:43Did you see that?
15:44I look just like a cow.
15:46Here I go again.
15:47Moo!
15:47Moo!
15:47Well, I never.
15:51That was an insult to cows everywhere.
15:53I can't believe that goat.
15:56That wasn't a very good imitation.
15:58I'm with Bessie.
16:00Hmm, I like that goat.
16:02I wish I could eat like he did.
16:04Well, you children at home,
16:06it looks like one of our herd wants to be like that silly goat
16:09and have a snack from your hand.
16:11So if you have any grass,
16:12now would be a good time to get it out
16:14because I think she's very hungry.
16:16Go ahead, dear.
16:17Oh, I'm drooling.
16:18I'm so hungry.
16:19Please give me some grass.
16:22Mmm, oh, yum.
16:24Delicious.
16:25Thank you so much.
16:27What more?
16:28Mmm, yum, yum, yum, yum.
16:31Oh, I'm so full.
16:34She never has had a very big appetite.
16:36Eats like a bird, that cow.
16:40Oh, hi.
16:41Yeah, yeah, we're just rooting around for food, you know.
16:45Pigs have a great sense of smell.
16:47Yes, we do.
16:47Oh, and you smell great.
16:49Yeah, yeah, yeah.
16:51I want to sniff around a little more,
16:52but sit tight so I can tell you a little more about us piggies, okay?
16:57Pigs are really quite clean animals.
16:59I don't know why we have a reputation of being dirty.
17:01Oh, yeah, the mud thing.
17:03Actually, we wallow in mud to keep cool and protect our skin from the sun.
17:08Oh, and the mud feels so good, too.
17:11Pigs love to run and play, but we also love to sleep.
17:14A happy pig will sleep most of the day away, if you give him a chance.
17:17Sweet dreams, Piggy.
17:22Okay, well, I'm going to sniff around a little more and then try to find my three pals.
17:27Where are they, anyway?
17:29Well, there they are.
17:30Hi, there.
17:35Check out the sign Farmer John just put up.
17:39It says,
17:40Please don't feed fingers to the horses.
17:43By the way,
17:44did anyone ever tell you that you smell delicious?
17:48Hello, children.
17:52I'm Della Donkey.
17:54This is my daughter, Dory.
17:56Donkeys are kind of like horses, but smaller and with very, very long ears.
18:03What's that you say, Dory?
18:05You hear some of the other farm animals calling us to play.
18:09Let's go find them.
18:11Oh, here's everybody.
18:13Hey, there's Zenith the zebra.
18:16Whee!
18:16And Hannah with her beautiful horse coat.
18:20Hee-haw!
18:22Okay, I know what you're thinking, kids.
18:25A zebra on a farm?
18:26Shouldn't I be with wild animals?
18:28No!
18:29I love it on the farm.
18:31How many striped animals get to live on a farm?
18:33Not many.
18:35By the way,
18:36did you know that no two zebras have the same stripes?
18:39My friend Zazu is modeling her stripes for you.
18:42A zebra's stripes are as unique as your fingerprints.
18:45Thank you, Zazu.
18:46Nicely done.
18:47Ha-ha!
18:47No problem.
18:49Well, I've said a mouthful.
18:51I see a silly goose over there.
19:00I'm not silly.
19:01I'm just a goose, as are these characters behind me.
19:03Did you know that geese make great watchdogs?
19:06We don't bark, but we sure can chase and hiss.
19:09Listen.
19:14Geese care a lot about each other.
19:16When we find a mate, we usually stick together for life.
19:19Looks like these geese are out on a double date.
19:22And they have a lot to talk about.
19:23Geese are pretty neat animals, aren't we?
19:27Hey, I can almost see you in there.
19:30Hello?
19:31Oh!
19:32Now, introducing a bunny who's sure to tickle your whiskers.
19:37Eee-oh!
19:40Hey, what's up, Doc?
19:42I always wanted to say that.
19:44See you in there.
20:05Bye.
20:06Bye.
20:06Bye.
20:08Bye.
20:09Bye.
20:09Bye.
20:10Bye.
20:11Bye.
20:12Bye.
20:13Bye.
20:13Bye.
20:13I'm really tired.
20:40This looks like a peaceful place to have a nap.
20:42What's a guy got to do to get a little sleep around here?
20:55Hi, I'm a baby goat.
21:00They call me a kid.
21:03Are you a kid too?
21:08Ah, life on a farm pond.
21:12Beautiful.
21:13Bucolic.
21:14Blissful.
21:15He quacks me up.
21:18My favorite B word is bread.
21:20So if you have any bread you can spare, I'd sure appreciate a bite.
21:25That was great.
21:26You know, he's right.
21:27Life on a farm pond really is the best.
21:29Hey, I was just thinking, you know.
21:31If you got any more bread, well, you know.
21:35Do ya?
21:38I'm such a lucky duck.
21:41Thanks, kid.
21:44Look at me.
21:46I'm a big giant llama.
21:49Come along, dear.
21:50You'll be a big giant llama soon enough.
21:53Oh, Mama Llama.
21:55Oh, hello there.
21:57I'm a camel.
21:59Okay, that wink gives me away.
22:02Okay, I'm not really a camel.
22:04I do look like a camel, don't I?
22:06Well, camels and llamas are close relatives, as you can probably tell.
22:11Well, look at that stately profile.
22:13That regal muzzle.
22:15Okay, my ears are like bananas, but otherwise a spittin' image.
22:19Speaking of spitting, I don't think it's fair that...
22:26Anyway, I don't think it's fair...
22:30As I was saying, it's not fair that we llamas have such a bad reputation for spitting at people.
22:37If we're treated right, we generally don't spit at people.
22:41Other llamas, yes, but not people.
22:43Not usually.
22:44The idea that llamas just go around spitting on anyone they don't like makes me so mad I could spit.
22:49Oh, just an expression, kids.
22:51Pay no attention.
22:57Oh, look, Sam.
22:59Wow, a kid.
23:01Oh, and I smell apple.
23:03Whoa there, buddy.
23:05I smelled it first, right, kid?
23:07Oh, yum.
23:08That does smell good.
23:12Hey, as we say, check this out, kid.
23:14I've eaten all my hay, and now it's time for dessert.
23:17So you stay out of the way.
23:20Oh, the nerve.
23:21He's so pushy.
23:22You should feed your apple to the polite horse.
23:24That would be me.
23:26Yoo-hoo.
23:27Over here.
23:28Over here.
23:29Oh, smells wonderful.
23:30Yes, yes.
23:31I want that apple.
23:32It's a vision of loveliness.
23:33I should know.
23:34His eyes can see almost all the way around his body, and we have the biggest eyes of any
23:39land mammal.
23:40That means hardly anything escapes my vision.
23:42So I see that you're going to give me that apple.
23:45Yes?
23:46Yes.
23:47And that means you don't get it.
23:50Come on, kid.
23:51You can give it to me now.
23:52While he's not lugging.
23:53Oh, boy.
23:54You're the greatest.
23:55Thanks, pal.
23:56I'm here at a huge park where dogs can be their doggy selves and run around without leashes.
24:13It's like dog heaven here.
24:16This park has sand and trails and ocean and great things to sniff and lots of fun dogs.
24:23I just know you're going to love it here.
24:25If you have a dog treat, be sure to have it handy.
24:28Because a couple of my friends are bound to be hungry.
24:33Hello.
24:34I'm Stanley, the Labrador Retriever.
24:36Yum, yum, yum.
24:37You smell wonderful.
24:38Buffy.
24:39Buffy, come on over here.
24:40Let's meet my new friend.
24:42I can't see a thing.
