00:0024th of February we began the special military operation in Ukraine in to
00:09protect our citizens in Donbas and to ensure security of our homeland. Russian
00:16soldiers and officers are acting like real heroes. Our military are fighting
00:25in a stoic way, fully understanding their duty even after injuries soldiers and
00:33officers continue to fight. They sacrifice their lives in order to save
00:39their comrades and peaceful citizens. In the course of fighting our military and
00:48the formations of Donbas and Lugansk showing terrorism. And we see a great
00:58example in Donetsk region. Fighters under the command of Brigada, they were able to
01:10break through a very strengthened line of defense that had been strengthened over
01:16the last eight years. The commander of the tank detachment during his fight destroyed
01:26five tanks. On the 25th of February the head of the Lovkin, Alexei Lovkin, encountered
01:4015 tanks and six BMP of the nationalists. And having attacked them, they destroyed
01:50all BMPs and five tanks. Having achieved the goal without any losses, I signed an order. I
02:03signed an order to award Gajimogomedov the status of the owner of Hero of Russia
02:14posthumously. As a real commander, he was protecting his soldiers. Having received a
02:25heavy wound, he continued to fight and blew himself up with a grenade and the fighters
02:36who surrounded him. Because he knew who he was dealing with. He was dealing with Nazis
02:42who abuse people. I am a Russian person. I'm a Russian person and I
02:54I see this heroism from somebody who is from Dagestan. And when I talk about other
03:05ethnic groups, I say I am Chechen, I am Ossetin, I am Mordhvin and so on. All these 300
03:16nationalities, ethnic groups, ethnic groups that live in the territory of Russia. And I'm
03:22proud that I am part of this world, part of this mighty strong multicultural state of Russia. And
03:32of course, I will never go back on my conviction that Russia, Russians and Ukrainians are the
03:40same people. Even though that a lot of Ukrainians have been threatened or scared or brainwashed. But
03:48some of them, of course, consciously went to fight for the Nazis, those who fought on the side of
03:57Hitler during the Second World War. The fact that we are dealing with neo-Nazis is demonstrated by the
04:03fact, by the nature of the fighting. We see that there are lots of mercenaries from Middle East and they are using
04:14peaceful citizens as human shields. There are absolutely objective data where they place heavy
04:24artillery in residential areas. They are acting in this way. And they are absolute gangsters, absolute bandits.
04:38And instead of moving away this heavy equipment from civil infrastructure and housing, they are bringing in rocket launchers and so on into these areas.
04:56They are holding thousands of young students, foreign citizens. And they have been keeping 3,000 over 3,000 Indian students in Kharkiv rail station, preventing them from leaving.
05:14And they keep leaving them. And about 576 students in Summe. They started shooting at Chinese children, students who wanted to leave and two of them got injured.
05:26Two of them got injured. Hundreds of foreign citizens trying to leave the areas, but they are not allowed to do that. They are being held hostages. And they offer them to go through Lvov, which means covering the whole area of military action.
05:46Our military provided corridors in all areas without exception. They provided transportation so that citizens and foreign citizens could leave to safety zones.
06:02I would like to emphasize that nationalists. I would like to emphasize that nationalists are not allowing them to do this. Moreover, now they are stating, they are telling foreign citizens to go to their authorities, who will need to contact Ukrainian foreign ministry.
06:22So, what is worse still, neo-Nazis are dealing in a really horrible way with their own citizens. They are using them as shields.
06:35We know that in Severodonetsk and Lisechansk and other areas of Donetsk, they are trying to move citizens from the upper floors in the buildings to the middle floors or lower floors.
06:50And they put some heavy equipment upstairs. And they put on the upper floors, they put snipers. And it was only the fascists, the Nazis, who were doing this in those areas when we fought them in the Second World War.
07:12And our soldiers and officers are trying to prevent any victims among civil population. Unfortunately, we are incurring losses. And our duty is to support the families of our people, of our personnel, those who fight for our cause.
07:36And to everyone who suffered or who lost their lives, their families will receive insurance payouts and they will also get a monthly compensation to all the members of their families.
07:55Apart from that, I believe that it is necessary to set up another payout to all the servicemen and women who are participating in the operation in the region of five million rubles.
08:11All military who are injured in the operation will receive a payout, insurance payout and a single, one single payout for any injury.
08:25If the injured person is not able to continue the military service. If the injured person is not able to continue the military service, they will receive 2.9 million rubles as a payout.
08:36And if they get disability, then they will receive a monthly compensation. And this has already been passed into law.
08:43I also would like to say that it's important to ensure additional payouts, payouts to the military and any other departments participating in the operation.
08:57Those who were injured or wounded in the region of 3 million rubles.
09:04Now we have this military who fight for Russia, for the security of people in Donbas and for denazification and demilitarization.
09:16So that there's no longer any direct threat on the direct border with Russia, including threat from nuclear weapons.
09:24We are proud of our military and we need to remember our fallen comrades and we need to do everything to support their families and their close ones.
09:39And I invite you to respect their memory with a minute of silence.
10:02Please.
10:07Dear comrades, I'd like to say that the special military operation is taking course in strict accordance with the plan and the schedule.
