Boy: Mum, tells the story of Jake, a victim of bullying. After his father passed, his mother Katie, gets into a relationship with Derek in the hopes that he can be a good role model for Jake. Instead he has his own ideas of how Jake should handle his bullies, which leads to verbal abuse from Derek. Jake decides not to fight back in order to be a paternal figure to his younger brother, Charlie and to honour his father, until Jake is pushed too far.
