How to turn your USB Flashdrive to a Bootable Flashdrive (windows 10)
Transcript
00:00Good day to you everyone. Hope you are all doing fine. Here in this video I'll be showing you how to
00:07make your regular USB drive into a bootable drive. The last video I made, I made it using
00:17Windows 7. Now I'm going to make this new USB flash drive into a Windows 10 operating system
00:27and operating boot. So just as usual, I have told us that we are going to download a software called
00:36Rufus from their website. You can just go to Google and type Rufus. Then you will see the link and then
00:42you follow the procedures to download the software. This is what you'll find. So you open. Once you've
00:51downloaded and you run the software, then it will prompt you to allow the app making this
00:59device, you said yes. So let's minimize this. So the next thing now is to prepare the Windows 10
01:10software which we'll be making use of. And here is the Windows 10 software. Although I downloaded it
01:15from GetInto PC. I downloaded it from their website. So this is it. Windows 10 64-bit Pro and the likes.
01:25So this is the software we'll be making use of. And please take note of the root location. You know
01:32it is copied here on the desktop. So I want us to remember this so that we don't forget whenever we want
01:38to upload the Windows 10 into the Rufus where we'll be making use of the software. So now here,
01:48now we don't have a USB drive. So what you are going to do is to plug in the USB that I used USB flash drive
01:54or a new USB flash drive. But take note that everything in the flash drive will be formatted.
02:01And if you have any question you want to ask, although I'll be plugging the flash drive now,
02:06if you have any question you want to ask, you can ask in the comment section below and I'll be
02:12giving you answer to whichever I can. And if possible, I will drop my social media accounts,
02:19even my WhatsApp accounts where you can actually, as you can see, I have plugged in the USB flash drive,
02:26which is a 64 gig USB flash drive. So I'll go ahead and select. You click on the select here.
02:32You go ahead and select. Just like I said, it told us that this Rufus only accepts disk file and then
02:43dot IELTS ISO file, which I'm having here, which is this get into PC. This is the Windows 10 software
02:51will be making use of. So once you click, then we'll click on open.
02:55So you see immediately everything is loaded here. So you also come to one place here,
03:02which is this partition scheme. You select, you select MBR.
03:10We'll be making a video on the reason why you make use of the GPT. But the most popular one and the
03:17most used one is the MBR. So maybe in the next video, we'll be teaching you the uses of this GPT.
03:26Or then we'll go with the MBR. So here is the volume label. We can decide to give it
03:32whichever name we want. If we want, let's just say, let's say Windows 10, 64 bits.
03:43So this is it. Everything here is set. So you click on start.
03:56Then you click on OK, as usual, because this process will wipe out everything you have in
04:01the flash drive. So you just click on OK to continue. So now it is requesting and deleting partitions,
04:08as you can see. Just deleting. And please guys, if you have any question, you can ask in the comment
04:19section below. And I'll be posting my social media links where you can communicate me one on one.
04:28So this process is very easy. And just like as I said in the previous video, I said there are other
04:35ways you can do this. But for me, I prefer Rufus because it's very fast and easy. Some can make use
04:41of command prompt. Command prompt is a very long process, although I'll be teaching us also,
04:46but it's a very long process. If you're a lazy person, just like as I am, I will prefer you make
04:53use of your software to make everything easier for you. And let me tell you, lazy people who are wise are
05:00those who are enjoying life. So the lazy bob is smart in your laziness. So you see it has started
05:08the formatting process and it is copying the new file. So this is going to take a whole lot of time
05:15because I'm making use of a USB 2.0. But USB 3.0 is also faster. So depend on the flash drive,
05:23you are using the speed of this process depends on the flash drive you'll be making use of. So I will
05:30advise you make use of 3.0. It's still the same process. There is no, there is nothing different.
05:36It's, they are all the same process. So this is it. It is copying already. So this is going to take a
05:43whole lot of time. So what I'll do is that I'm going to pause the video recording and I'll play at 50%
05:52at 70% and at 99% so that we don't waste your time. Now as you can see, this is now in 22%.
06:05So I'll pause the video and I'll play again.
06:11Now it is in 26.1% and still loading.
06:15Now in 28.1% and still loading. So it's a very long process although it's not that long
06:24depending on the flash I'm making use of. So pause again.
06:3845% and still counting.
06:45Now it's 50% and still counting.
07:09Now at 75% and still loading. So we are going to pause again and hold on.
07:25Now at 92%.
07:30Now 96.7% and still counting.
07:3598.9%.
07:4299.4% now heading to 100%.
07:57Now this is 100% complete.
07:59Now we hold on for this to close up the setup so we can exit the software and it's finalizing.
08:20100% and still loading.
08:41Now it is 100% complete.
08:46Now we can close.
08:50So if you go to this PC now, you'll discover that the files, the raw files of the Windows 10
08:59are already in the flash drive and it is ready to start formatting as you can see.
09:05Windows 1064 bits. If you want to give it another name if you want, you can also do that.
09:12So this is everything about the Windows 10.
09:17So that is it guys.
09:18You can start formatting with your USB flash.
09:21That is it. If you have any question, anything you want to say, please kindly let me know in the
09:26comment section. And please do like, share and subscribe. By doing that, you'll be helping us
09:34to create more important and authentic videos for you. Thanks and God bless you. See you in the next video.
