00:00Shakira, it's your first Met Gala! Thank you. It's so lovely to see you. How are you feeling?
00:04So much. Excited. This is different. This is my first Met Gala.
00:09I've been invited before, but I could never make it.
00:11So I'm finally here, and I'm excited to see so many of my colleagues tonight.
00:16I love your song with Cardi B. What was it like with her rapping and singing in Spanish?
00:22She's so good. She's amazing in Spanish, as good as in English.
00:26She's so witty and ingenious and humorous, too.
00:35She's got that sense of humor.
00:37And what I love about her is that she's so unapologetic.
00:39She doesn't ask for permission to say what she has to say and to express herself.
00:44And that is the ultimate woman of today.
00:50There's so many Latinos here. You're here.
00:53I mean, Penelope Cruz is here. Bad Bunny and J-Lo are co-chairs.
00:55What are your thoughts on all the Latino representation here?
01:02Well, it's amazing, right, how things have changed for us.
01:06When I first started, it was so hard.
01:10There wasn't a real receptivity to Latin music,
01:14and there were the gatekeepers of radio and TV who were deciding who would get played and who wouldn't.
01:20But now people decide, and so many doors have opened for us Latinos.
01:26But, yeah, I remember when I crossed over to this market,
01:31it was a real challenge to get my music played on the radio, you know?
01:34Yeah.
01:35And now you're selling out tours.
01:36What's one thing you can tease from your tour?
01:39Because we can't.
01:39Oh, it's going to be the physical encounter between my fans and me,
01:43those fans and that audience that have supported me so much through the good and bad.
01:47done one for兩個 meroms?
01:53I love watching you so much after all my fans and of you.
01:57I love these.
01:57Yeah, I love watching you, that might even be the best.
02:01I love watching you.
02:05Bye.
02:05Bye.
02:05Bye.
02:09Bye.
02:10Bye.
02:12Bye.
02:13Bye.
02:15Bye.
02:15Bye.
02:15Bye.
