00:12What does mean awards for you, for Terry Gilliam?

00:17Well, if it's good enough for Marty Scorsese, it's good enough for me.

00:21I am here. Awards don't mean much to me.

00:25Their excuse is to come to places I've never been before.

00:29You make a lot of successful film, but upon to you, which is the best film you ever make?

00:36Well, the most important was was Monty Python and the Holy Grail,

00:40because Terry Jones and I directed it.

00:42And for the first time in my life, it said directed by Terry Gilliam and Terry Jones,

00:49which made me a director. And people believed that lie.

00:53And then other people gave me money to make films, thanks to that credit.

00:57What does mean fantasy for you?

00:59Fantasy doesn't interest me as much as imagination.

01:03Fantasy has its own rules and those are kind of limited.

01:07There's the king, there's the knight, there's the princess, there's the dragon, there's the, you know, the fairy.

01:14Imagination to me is more interesting because it's unlimited and you don't know where it's going to go.
