Tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan have reached a boiling point. On Monday night, the Pakistani army carried out a bombing on a civilian home in Afghanistan’s Khost province, killing nine innocent children and one woman.    The Taliban government has condemned the strike, calling it outright Pakistani aggression. 00:04The airstrike by Pakistan was deliberately timed for when people were sound asleep in their homes.

00:10Afghanistan spokesperson Zabihullah reported that around midnight,

00:15Pakistani airstrikes killed 10 people, including 9 children, and injured 5 civilians.

00:21He added that the attacks were conducted in areas like Khost and Gurnar Patrika,

00:26where significant loss of life and property was sustained.

00:30In the Magalgai area of Khost province, Pakistan's army bombed the home of a local civilian

00:36in which a woman, along with 5 boys and 4 girls, was killed and the house was completely destroyed.

00:44We would like to inform you that tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan have been ongoing for several months.

00:50This past October, Pakistan conducted an airstrike in Afghanistan's border area,

00:54resulting in the deaths of three Afghan cricketers.

00:58Afghanistan claims that civilians lost their lives in this attack and children were also among the casualties.

01:04Pakistani forces had bombed up to Kabul.

01:06Following this, Afghanistan delivered a strong and fitting response.

01:10A ceasefire was agreed upon by both sides, but Pakistan's aerial attacks nevertheless persisted.

01:15The Taliban, however, continued to label this as sheer hypocrisy.

01:18Meanwhile, Pakistan asserts that it carries out these kinds of airstrikes to target the hideouts of TTP,

01:25the Tariq-e-Taliban Pakistan, who have taken refuge within Afghanistan.

01:29Pakistan alleges that the TTP is operating from safe havens within Afghanistan.

01:34The government of Afghanistan has consistently denied these allegations.

01:38They state that internal insecurity is Pakistan's own issue and Afghanistan has no involvement in it.

01:44They do not allow their territory to be used against any other country.

01:47Overall, both nations are acting against each other, but common people are losing their lives.
