In the United States, a line of severe storms in Harris County, Texas damaged homes, cut power to thousands and triggered tornado warnings Monday. Aerial footage from ABC-13 showed significant damage to a number of homes, along with scattered debris. The station said severe winds and an isolated tornado continue to be possible into the evening. Forecasters warned of flooding rain and the possibility of severe thunderstorms Monday from Texas to Arkansas and Louisiana into Mississippi. By Monday evening, more than one thousand flights into and out of Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport were delayed and over 100 canceled, according to the flight-tracking site FlightAware.
