President Marcos has broken his silence on the drug allegations of his own sister against him and his family, saying the person who had them wrapped in a controversy "is not my sister."
00:00Good afternoon sir. Sir, how do you respond to the drug use accusations made by no less than your sister, Senator Amy Marcos, against you and the first family?
00:12Sir, were you hurt by her accusations and how do you explain these claims to the public?
00:18Sir, it's anathema to me to talk about family matters generally in public.
00:33I do not like to, we do not like to show our dirty linen in public.
00:42So, I'll just say this much, for a while now we've been very worried about my sister.
00:52When I say we, I'm talking about friends and family.
00:56And the reason that is, is because the lady that you see talking on TV is not my sister.
01:06And that is, that view is shared by our cousins, our friends.
01:14Hindi siya yan, hindi siya yan.
01:18So, that's why we worry. So, we are very worried about her.
01:23I hope she gets, I hope she feels better soon.
01:26Sir, quick follow up lang po. Nagkausap na po ba kayo sir?
01:30Or do you intend to talk to your sister?
01:32We don't really, we no longer travel in the same circles, political or otherwise. So, no.
