00:13Thursday night's X Factor finale was supposed to be a celebration.
00:17Singing duo and real-life couple Alex and Sierra were named the winners.
00:22Old season favorites returned and Lea Michele gave another stellar performance of her new single Cannonball.
00:30Light and light the fuse, light it now, light it now, light it now.
00:38But the episode featured a serious party foul when producers ran a segment on departing judge Demi Lovato.
00:45It was supposed to be a comedy segment about all the times Demi was drinking something they dubbed annoying juice while lashing out at Simon Cowell.
00:54I guess it could have been funny if it wasn't so insensitive.
00:58Demi was pretty open about her past substance abuse problems and went to rehab for it.
01:04So why did they decide to air a segment that featured her sipping on a mysterious drink that apparently caused her to act out?
01:10I don't know. Because clearly we weren't the only ones that thought the same thing.
01:14Because during the segment, the camera cut to Demi mouthing the words,
01:18that's so f***ed up to fellow judge Kelly Rowland.
01:21Yes Demi, that really is f***ed up.
01:24On the upside, it seems that X Factor will always be able to land an appearance by former winners One Direction no matter how big they get.
01:32Season 4 is currently up in the air, but if they do return, Lovato says she's not coming back.
