‘He’s lost a lot of marks from me’: are Sir Kier Starmer’s days numbered?

With his popularity diminishing and polling showing Labour are nowhere near as popular as they were only a few years ago, we’re asking people in Cardiff if Sir Kier Starmer has lost their trust.

00:00There are too many lies, and I don't trust anybody anymore.

00:04Politics, they all lie.

00:06I think there's a real strong opportunity for Keir Starmer to demonstrate good quality leadership.

00:13That is going to be really important over the next few months,

00:15but I'm confident that they can make the right decisions and support hard-working families.

00:21Yes, he have. Yes, he have lost a lot of marks on me.

00:24He's not the true person he was when he voted in.

00:29When he voted in, he'd do this, he'd do that.

00:32Everybody's the same thing. Once they're in, they don't do anything like that, mate.

00:36They just leave you on a shelf and don't bother us.

00:39I think it's a difficult position to be in charge of England right now,

00:43and I think it's hard to please a lot of people.

00:48I think, yeah, it is a really good opportunity,

00:50and I think it's important to listen to the public

00:54and demonstrate traditional Labour Party values.
