01:29For the pilot launching of the PBBM RS, it can now be used in the four Kadiwa ng Pangulo sites in Metro Manila and in NFA warehouses.
01:38Registration is required through p20.gov.ph and members of the vulnerable sectors, including senior citizen, four-piece beneficiaries, person with disabilities and solo parents, and qualified jeepney and tricycle drivers may now register.
01:54Farmers and fisher folks registered under the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture or RSBSA may also register.

02:32The agency also assured that the system is protected against the AI-generated photos or IDs that may be used to abuse the monthly rice allocation, especially since the system also verifies if the face and details match the claimant of the P20 rice.
02:49The DA is also coordinating with the DICT and e-gov to further improve the registry system.
02:55The Agriculture Department aims for all qualified beneficiaries to be registered and be able to purchase affordable rice by March next year.
03:0415 million household is the target beneficiaries of the Benteng Bigas Meruna program by 2026.
03:10Agriculture Secretary Francisco Chula Orell Jr. assured that the funds are sufficient for the continuation of the program next year.
03:18According to him, around P23 billion can be utilized for the rollout of the Benteng Bigas Merun na.
03:24So technically it's 19 billion for the 2026 GAA, but meron pa kaming contingency fund na binigay ng ating Pangulo since last year na ginagamit ngayon for the pilot project.
