00:00It looks like the Beyonce rumors are true. The Grammy-winning singer is set to join Kamala
00:04Harris at a Friday rally in Houston. THR has learned that the event, which has not yet been
00:09publicly announced, will also see Beyonce joined by her mother, Tina Knowles, and country music's
00:14Willie Nelson. The planned appearance ends months of speculation about if Beyonce would publicly
00:19endorse the Democratic Party's presidential nominee, given the impact the 32-time Grammy-winning
00:24artist could have on voters. Earlier in her campaign, Beyonce granted Vice President Harris
00:29approval to use the lemonade song Freedom. The song, which champions Black women's empowerment,
00:35has become an anthem for Harris' 2024 campaign. Throughout Harris' campaign, the White House
00:40hopeful has selectively recruited star power to rally behind her. This year's DNC featured a lineup
00:46of Hollywood emceeing, including Mindy Kaling, Tony Goldwyn, and Kerry Washington. The convention also
00:51featured performances by Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Patti LaBelle, a daytime panel moderated
00:56by Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and a surprise appearance by Oprah Winfrey, who urged people to register
01:01to vote and more. The other megastar who had equal hype to Beyonce around an endorsement, Taylor Swift,
01:08publicly came out for Harris the day after the one and only presidential debate between Harris and
01:13Republican candidate Donald Trump. For more on the story, head to THR.com. And for the latest
