00:06and Chris Evans saves the day in this 2019 Oscars recap.

00:12Hey guys, it's Devontae for Hollywood Life and if you didn't watch the Oscars, well don't worry

00:15because we're about to recap the event for you. Let's start with Billy Porter because he may have

00:19been the best dressed this year wearing this half tux half dress by Christian Soriano. It's like the

00:24centaur of fashion, both parts fierce and elegant. The only look that tops this for me is Melissa

00:29McCarthy in Brian Tyree Henry's Tudor-style wardrobe. This looks crazy and I'm here for it.

00:34But okay, to Chris Evans because he had a real Captain America moment when he helped Regina

00:39King walk up the steps to accept the award for Best Supporting Actress. Another big moment was

00:44when Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper performed a duet of their song Shallow from A Star Is Born

00:49and nearly stole the show. Their chemistry is so amazing it led to people thinking they might have

00:54something going on off screen. However, those thoughts quickly evaporated when we saw Bradley's

00:58girlfriend stand up and lead a standing ovation for the two. Gaga had another big moment when she

01:03and Mark Ronson won for Best Original Song for Shallow. Another big win in music went to Black

01:08Panther composer Ludwig Gordson. He won the Oscar for Best Score just weeks after winning Record of

01:13the Year for This Is America at the Oscars. Other winners include Olivia Colman for Best Actress,

01:18Rami Malek for Best Actor, Alfonso Cuaron for Best Director, and The Green Book for Best Picture.

01:23Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, stop, stop, stop. Yeah, some people weren't fans of that choice,

01:27especially Spike Lee, who was reportedly visibly angry after the win. He reacted to his reaction

01:32and had this to say. Can you give us your thoughts on that Best Picture win? Let me take another sip.

01:49If you're not a fan of Spike Lee, well, don't worry. His buddy Samuel Jackson sort of roasted him

01:56when revealing the Knicks finally won a game because Spike was absent from the garden.

02:12But alright, to the biggest moment that wasn't shown on TV. Rami Malek tripped and fell hard after

02:21the show was over, and paramedics had to come and check on him later. We're not able to show the
