本作品は、高い人気で終了したキカイダーの続編として制作されました。前作と同じく勧善懲悪のヒーロー作品としての基本内容はキープしつつ、前作では登場しなかった女性アンドロイドの存在なども新たなるストーリーの特徴を形成しました。

This work is produced as a sequel to Kikaider, which ended with high popularity. While maintaining the core elements of a hero story promoting good and punishing evil, like its predecessor, it also introduced new story features such as the presence of female androids, which did not appear in the previous work.
