Self-taught artist paints daisies using gouache in her sketchbook

'Art doesn’t imitate life; it beautifies it.'

That seems to be Rusheel’s weekend motto as the brush glides across the page, bringing daisies to life one petal at a time.

There’s something magical about watching colors bloom under steady hands, and even more so when it’s all captured from the calm corner of a sketchbook.

''I am a self-taught artist who likes to shoot the painting process when making art on the weekends,'' she told WooGlobe.

The result was a burst of gentle hues that turned out beautifully.
