00:00Inside Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour's tumultuous Stranger Things, relationship amid
00:06bullying allegations. Millie Bobby Brown accused her Stranger Things co-star David Harbour of
00:12harassment and bullying in a complaint, years after they began working on the hit Netflix series.
00:18Before recent reports, Harbour described his relationship with 21-year-old Brown as
00:23almost father-daughter and called her wacky.
00:26She's so precocious and I'm such a grumpy curmudgeon that it's just us kind of arguing
00:32with each other, Harbour said at the time. I care about her a lot and I think she's making
00:36some good decisions and some bad decisions, and I'm very able to voice that to her, and
00:41she's very able to argue back with me. During the same interview, the Violent Night actor
00:45spoke candidly about one of his favorite memories with Brown from Stranger Things season 3.
00:51He described their bond as playful, like a fake father-daughter dynamic, sharing life
00:56details and teasing about his romantic life. Harbour discussed his relationship with Brown
01:00on a July 2021 episode of That Scene with Dan Patrick podcast.
01:06Millie and I have always had sort of a special relationship because I knew her when she was
01:09so young. I knew her before any of this big fame hit, he said of Brown, whom he began working
01:14with on the series in 2016. He continued,
01:18I have a real protective feeling for her. I have a real, like, worry. I worry about her
01:24and the fame and all that she has to struggle with, and I've just always felt this kind of
01:28deep fatherly affection for her. In January 2024, Brown filed a detailed complaint accusing
01:35Harbour of bullying and harassment, prompting a months-long investigation. No sexual misconduct
01:40was alleged. Netflix declined to comment on the investigation. Brown had a personal representative
01:46on set for the final season. Harbour has not responded to the reports.
