Police have confirmed the identity of the man who drowned after being swept away by a water surge near the Pintasan Saloma (Saloma Link) in Kuala Lumpur, identifying him through a tattoo bearing his own name.

Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Sazalee Adam said a family member also verified the victim’s identity.

A post-mortem will be conducted, and the case remains classified as a Sudden Death Report.
