Disney has officially set its release date for 'Toy Story 5.' Woody and Buzz are ready to grace your screens again as Pixar's 'Toy Story 5' is set to hit theaters June 19, 2026. Elsewhere on Disney's release calendar, the studio also pushing Dwayne Johnson's live-action remake of 'Moana' by a year to July 10, 2026 (it was previously slated for from June 27, 2025). The studio also confirmed that the 'Star Wars' feature 'The Mandalorian & Grogu' will bow on May 22, 2026.

00:19Disney CEO Bob Iger first announced Toy Story 5 in February of 2023,
00:23with a sequel and attempt to return to form for the franchise
00:27after the disappointing performance of the 2022 spinoff Lightyear,
00:31with Chris Evans replacing Tim Allen to voice the title character Buzz Lightyear.
00:35The most recent Toy Story installment topped $1 billion at the box office in 2019.
00:40Elsewhere on Disney's release calendar,
00:42the studio is also pushing Dwayne Johnson's live-action remake of Moana by a year to July 10, 2026.
00:49It was previously slated for June 27, 2025.
00:53The move gives the remake more breathing room from the animated Moana 2,
00:57which opens this November.
00:59The studio also confirmed that the Star Wars feature The Mandalorian and Grogu
