00:28grunge sound from the 90s where does that come from uh just a lot of like older brothers and
00:34just uh i don't know i think we naturally kind of gravitated to it we we grew up listening to
00:39kind of rock adjacent music but um i feel like as we got older we kind of started to find the 90s
00:45music you know and it's kind of funny we were talking about this right before we started that
00:49in this world of like metalcore and stuff like that a band like like return to us kind of sticks out a
00:53little bit yeah for sure yeah it's definitely not the metalcore i think like a big thing was like we
01:00on the radio we um we found that the 90s like like you know allison chains like those bands were able
01:05to like strip back and just do like the acoustic thing like finding the unplugged at the same time
01:10that i found the the plugged in versions of like my favorite songs by them was just like i don't know
01:15we wanted to do kind of something similar where it's like we could write our songs on an acoustic guitar
01:19and then translate it to heavy guitar and band stuff like that and i just feel like you don't see that
01:24nowadays it's just all drop a riffs and screamy vocals and plus you know the the dual vocals is
01:30something you don't see from bands a lot anymore so and uh the eps out that came out over the summer
01:36and tell us about that yeah speak like the dead um six song ep why don't you put a full record out
01:43that's a good question i feel like we wanted to kind of pack a tighter punch if that makes sense
01:49yeah um you know i think we had you know a few songs you know to choose from to to put on this ep
01:57and how many more songs you have left i mean there's songs that you still have for another record
02:00or something we're always working on new stuff so it's hard to say but um a lot of songs it's
02:05honestly really hard to pick the six songs in the ep and it did feel a little bit like um this this uh
02:11like tests to try and see how many like songs you could pack on here and you know leave the rest for
02:17an album later on or something but still make a cohesive vision out of out of six songs which
02:22i think we did i love that ep and i love the way that it flows and everything but there's so much
02:26more stuff that we have that we're just sitting on that we just can't wait to just put out in the
02:30world we were talking earlier next year is going to be a big year for you guys with a bunch of tours
02:34and shows are you gonna be able to put out anything new next year yeah oh definitely yeah absolutely
02:38we got some plans okay you got you're out here hopping on the danny wimmer festivals yeah on a lot of them
02:44yeah yeah some of them were skipping this year because i think we did them like all last year
02:48and the year beforehand so choice ones we're skipping the next year um just to make way for like our
02:54headliner tour and also going to europe in june so we're gonna be we need some time and space to do

03:06i've seen him a bunch of times that guy looks like he's not even trying up there and he's so good
03:11and wolfgang i mean what can you say about wolfgang guy's just unbelievable great yeah great musicians

03:24from them it's amazing to see that every night just to watch them do their thing and then they get off
03:29stage and they're like the most humble dudes right right you know um so it's yeah really cool yeah i can
