00:03A farmer had three lazy sons.

00:08They never worked and always asked for money to spend.

00:12The farmer thought of teaching them a lesson.

00:16One day he called his sons and said,

00:20Sons, I am growing old now.

00:24I want to tell you a secret.

00:26The boys grew curious and excited.

00:31When the farmer had got their attention, he said,

00:34I have a treasure hidden in my field.

00:38I have forgotten where it is.

00:41You must dig up the field to find it.

00:44The lazy but greedy sons got ready to do the work.

00:49Next morning they got up early.

00:52By evening they had dug up the whole field,

00:55but they found no treasure.

00:58In the evening they went home and said,

01:02Father, we are very tired.

01:04We dug up the whole field but found no treasure.

01:08The old farmer smiled and said,

01:11It does not matter, sons.

01:13Now the field is dug up.

01:16Why don't you sow some corns in it?

01:19The sons agreed and soon they bought some corn seeds to sow in their field.

01:26A few weeks later there were good rains.

01:30Soon the field was filled with golden corn cobs swaying in the breeze.

01:36Then the farmer said,

01:38Sons, you must cut this lush crop and sell it in the market.

01:44Bring the money to me.

01:45The sons went to the field and cut the standing corns.

01:51They sold it in the market and earned a thousand rupees.

01:56They took the money to their father.

01:58The old farmer saw the money and said,

02:01Sons, this is the treasure I told you about.

02:06This treasure was in the soil of the field.

02:10Your hard work dug it out.

02:13If you work like this every year,

02:16you will get this treasure all your life.

02:20The lazy sons understood what their father meant.

02:24From that day they worked hard and earned their own money.

02:30Moral, fruits of labor are sweet.
