00:00I think we're in a time in the world where we have to acknowledge that women need to stand together as one.
00:12We always do, and of course we have our own silent language.
00:15But I think it's not how you fall, it's how you get up.
00:18And I think right now we have to get up as one.
00:21We have to get up and acknowledge each other as one no matter what.
00:25Whether you had a fight, whether you don't like her, whether you pushed her down, you have to help each other and stand up as one.
00:32Betty Williams, who became my godmother.
00:36And Betty Williams was the person with her friend, who they really actually weren't even friends, Mayred McGuire.
00:43They were two women who stood together to create the Million Mom March that stopped the uprising in Belgium, in Ireland.
00:52Why did I say Belgium? In Ireland.
00:53And they stopped, in Belfast, they stopped the war between the Protestants and Catholics in Ireland.
01:02And together they won a Nobel Prize for this work.
01:06And when I met Betty, I was so moved by her, and we became such fast friends that she ultimately became my godmother before she died.
01:16And I admired her work that never stopped, her work that went around the world, her work that expanded into building refugee camps in areas that people were going to throw away.
01:28And I worked together with her and learned so much from her, and I admire her till this day.
