ANTHONY JOSHUA’S PRIVATE CHEF CONFIDENT OF KNOCKOUT AHEAD OF JAKE PAUL FIGHT WITH VID AND PIX BY SAM PRINGLE Anthony Joshua is gearing up to face Jake Paul next month and the chef who fed him behind closed doors says the knockout is all but guaranteed. Tharun Randaya, a chef from Dubai, UAE, cooked for Joshua’s elite team while he was still just a teenager, and has lifted the lid on life inside AJ’s fight camp. The 19-year-old says Joshua is a mix of laser-focused discipline and unexpected charm - a fighter who trains like a machine but still takes time to mentor the young team around him. “I know he takes his training very seriously and I’m very confident in a knockout,” Randaya reveals. “He would always give me life advice and motivation.” The Olympic gold medallist star reportedly treats food with the same seriousness as sparring. “He takes his food very seriously when he’s in camp,” Randaya says. “When we were cooking for him, he had tried many new dishes he’s never had before which he’d liked. But his favourite was going back to the Nigerian meals.” “AJ is a very funny, kind hearted guy. I loved working with him. But one thing Joshua won’t do, Randaya insists, is take Jake Paul lightly. “I don’t think he would compromise just because Jake Paul is his opponent,” he says. If Randaya’s confidence is anything to go by Jake Paul isn’t just losing, he’s getting flattened. ENDS
