00:00Today we are in our Asian section of the San Diego Zoo Safari Park.

00:12We just recently moved a pack of eight Chinese dolls to a new exhibit.

00:30Doles tend to look a little bit like a red fox mixed with your pet at home.

00:39They are about 45 pounds in size and they are long-limbed and a beautiful red color.

00:48Chinese dolls are found throughout Asia and they are a very social species.

00:53They are usually found in large packs and here in our exhibit we have a family pack of

00:58a dad and all his kids.

01:06Doles are an endangered species in their wild habitat.

01:10They are hard to monitor because they do live way up in the mountains.

01:14Due to human encroachment on their habitat they are rarely seen and are moving higher and

01:19higher up living close to where you might see snow leopards.

01:28Chinese dolls are such cool animals.

01:31They are extremely smart, very playful and definitely one of my favorites.
