00:00What's up everyone, and welcome back. Tonight, history was made in Los Angeles, and you know
00:04exactly who we're talking about. LeBron James, at 40 years old, officially stepped onto the court
00:10for his unprecedented 23rd season in the NBA. That's right, 23 before tonight, the legendary
00:16Vince Carter held the record at 22 seasons. Well, King James just rewrote the record books,
00:21stepping into a league of his own. Now, think about this, he missed the entire preseason in
00:26the first 14 games with a nerve issue, but he walked right back into the starting lineup and
00:31immediately changed the feel of the game. It took him a minute to get going, he was actually scoreless
00:35for the first 11 minutes, but once he found his groove, it was a match for class. LeBron finished
00:40with 11 points and 12 assists, reminding everyone that his court vision is still absolutely elite.
00:46Oh, and with just two three-pointers in the first half, he officially passed Reggie Miller for sixth
00:50place on the all-time threes list. Another milestone for the King, but this wasn't a solo act. The
00:56Lakers' new offensive engine, Luka Doncic, was on fire, dropping an insane 37 points and 10 assists.
01:02He exploded for 17 points in the third quarter alone, completely taking over and blowing the
01:07game wide open for the Lakers. Austin Reeves also came up huge, chipping in with 26 points of his own.
01:13With this victory, the Lakers are now 11-4 and riding a three-game winning streak.
01:18They look dangerous. Credit where it's due, the Utah Jazz fought hard. Their rookie Keon Georgiou,
01:23get this, was born just 10 days, asterisk after asterisk, LeBron's NBA debut, in 2003, had himself
01:30a night, tying his season high with 33 points. Laurie Marconin added 31, and the Jazz even dropped
01:3671 points in the first half. But it wasn't enough. The Lakers came out of halftime a different team,
01:41closing the third quarter on a monster 21-25 run that sealed the deal. And of course, LeBron wasn't
01:47done making history. His layup in the third quarter extended his mind-boggling streak to
01:511,293 consecutive. Game scoring in double digits. Nobody else is even remotely close
01:57to that record. Then, to cap off a perfect night, Bronny James checked in for the final
02:02three minutes and knocked down a smooth three-pointer, a special father-son moment on a truly historic
02:07evening. The Lakers take the win, 140-125. LeBron James proves once again that age is just a
02:14number. But greatness is eternal. What a night for basketball.
