LeBron James just made history in his 23rd NBA season debut, becoming the first player ever to reach this milestone. The 40-year-old superstar returned after missing the first 14 games and delivered a masterclass with 11 points and 12 assists, leading the Lakers to a 140–125 win over the Utah Jazz.
Luka Doncic dominated with 37 points and 10 assists, including a huge 17-point third quarter that shifted the game. Austin Reaves added 26 as the Lakers improved to 11–4 with their third straight victory.
Utah fought hard behind Keyonte George’s 33 points and Lauri Markkanen’s 31, but the Lakers took full control with a powerful 21–5 run in the third.
LeBron also extended his iconic streak to 1,293 consecutive double-digit scoring games, while Bronny James checked in late and knocked down a smooth 3-pointer.
This was a historic night for Lakers fans — and for basketball.
