00:10What does that tell us, do you think, about the state of relations between Riyadh and Washington?
00:15Well, firstly, thank you very much for having me. It's a great honour to join you again.
00:20I think it really speaks to two things.
00:23I think it speaks to the strategic depth that both Saudi Arabia and the United States have with each other.
00:31I think they realise, notwithstanding the multipolarisation of the world that's happening,
00:36and even at the sometimes the doubt that people may have regarding, I think, the commitments that the United States have or the United States has,
00:46it speaks, I think, to the fact that at the end of the day, both see each other as strategic partners.
00:52Now, in this case, there may be a question of elevating this relationship really from a strategic partnership to a strategic alliance.
01:01And I think, in my opinion, the pump and the ceremony is probably something that is reciprocated time and again.
01:08I think both characters are, you know, both are huge characters and both, you know,
01:13therefore, I think this is something they both see that is very befitting to each other and befitting to the moment in Saudi-American relations.
01:22I think it's an interesting milestone that they've both reached.
