00:50Welcome, thank you for being here on this historic and sacred occasion of the centenary celebrations
00:58of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. My heart is filled with deep devotion and gratitude.
01:07Though a century may have passed since His Divine Birth, His presence, His principles, His teachings,
01:16guidance and His compassion continue to reverberate in the hearts of millions worldwide.
01:24I extend a heartfelt thank you to you, our Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji,
01:32for being with us here today and for honouring this special occasion.
01:38I am looking forward to listening to your wise words, impactful and inspiring as always,
01:45to enthrall us today, this morning.
01:48Your presence here adds sanctity and inspiration to this centenary celebration
01:55and reminds us of Swami's message, that true leadership is service,
02:03service, and service to man is service to God.
02:11I stand here today and in all humility and honesty can say that this divine message I have always held
02:20deeply close to my heart and put into practice in life.
02:24Once a Balvikar student, always a Balvikar student.
02:35Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba often spoke about the five D's,
02:40five essential qualities needed for a meaningful, purposeful and spiritually anchored life.
02:48Discipline. Discipline is the mark of a true human being.
02:52Dedication. Dedication. Whatever you do, do it as an offering to God.
03:00Devotion. True devotion is the flow of love towards God.
03:07Determination. Once you have chosen the right path, never turn back.
03:14And discrimination as in the ability to choose between right and wrong.
03:19Truth and untruth. The very heart of spiritual life.
03:25Swami once said,
03:27Education should not be for a living, but it is and should be for life.
03:35The Sri Sathya Sai Baba education system is a shining example of this truth.
03:43From Balvikar's programs to value-based schools, colleges, and even a free, multidisciplinary university,
03:53serving thousands of students every year, free of cost, without discrimination, and rooted in values.
04:01Sri Sathya Sai Baba also gifted India and the world an unparalleled healthcare model.
04:08His super-speciality hospitals here in Puttaparthi, Whitefield, Kolkata, and in Navi Mumbai provide world-class treatment completely free of cost to lots of people,
04:25proving that the five C's he always spoke about, that is, compassion, charity, character, calmness, and contentment, not commerce, must drive caring for all humankind.
04:46From the historic drinking water mission that brought portable water to millions in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu,
04:55to global disaster relief, rural service, and youth empowerment programs,
05:02the Sri Sathya Sai Sai organization has served without seeking reward, guided by Swami's immortal words,
05:13Hands that serve are holier than lips that pray.
05:21Balvikar's was never just a weekly gathering for us.
05:24It was a positive space, where values were not just taught, but joyfully experienced.
05:35Those years were a divine training ground that molded minds, hearts, and spirit.
05:43We learned that practicing Satya, Dharma, Shanti, Prema, and Ahinsa in thought, word, and deed set the very foundation of all practices in life.
06:01As Swami said,
06:04You are not one person, but three.
06:10The one you think you are.
06:13The one that others think you are.
06:18And the one who you truly are.
06:22True Self is the Atma.
06:27The divine reality within.
06:29Realize it, and live it.
06:34As we celebrate hundred years of Sri Sathya Sai Baba's blessed advent,
06:42may we all rededicate ourselves to his divine message.
06:48Love all, serve all.
06:52There is only one caste, the caste of humanity.
06:57There is only one religion, the religion of love.
07:04There is only one language, the language of the heart.
07:10And there is only one God, and He is omnipresent.
07:15Say Ram.
07:17Jai Hind!
07:19You
