00:00Welcome back to Decentralized News, just another quick project review from one of our viewers' suggestions.
00:07Give us a like and a subscribe and also check out the links in the description to support us.
00:12So today we are looking at AllByte, which is a project that has this token with the ticker GBYTE, GBYTE,
00:20and currently trading at around $12, which is quite a good sum if you ask me.
00:30And I just thought, OK, not a problem. Let us get into what this token is all about.
00:36Let's try to understand if there is something behind this project that warrants them to be pushing that token at that price.
00:44And you can currently find this token being traded on FINE, Xbox, Fulgri, Bittrex, QuickSwap, etc.
00:52You can always find all of these cryptocurrency exchange reviews on our main site.
00:56And go to our ecosystems tab if you want to know which cryptocurrency platforms or trading platforms that we recommend people should use.
01:05So it was actually launched back in 2016.
01:07Apparently, this is a project that previously had another name, apparently formerly Byteball.
01:15It is actually a DAG-based cryptocurrency developed by Anton Chiyumov.
01:22I'm not sure where he's from.
01:25Back in 2016, AllByte is said to be a distributed ledger based on directed acyclic graph.
01:33The team chains, the team actually does claim that due to the absence of blocks and miners, access to AllByte ledger is decentralized,
01:44des-intermediated, and equal and open.
01:48And it claims to be the first DAG-based cryptocurrency platform to support decentralized applications.
01:54Due to the absence of miners and blocks, the team does say that there's no risk of front-running or miner manipulation.
02:02And DABs are safer and easier to develop on that blockchain.
02:07And the DABs are created in all script in your language that avoids many unsafe programming patterns that are common in a layer DAB platform.
02:18So the team does believe that AllByte is especially suited for DeFi apps.
02:23Some have already been made available on the platform, such as Bonded Stable Coins, which is on allstable.org.
02:33And other features include self-sovereignty identity, private untraceable currencies,
02:40sending crypto to email using text coins, and extremely small footprint libraries suitable for small IoT devices.
02:51So this is what their use case is focusing on.
02:55Currently, like I said, they are available on Bittrex with a BTC pair, on QuickSwap with a USDT pair,
03:03and on Findbox with a USDT pair, rather.
03:07And, you know, not a lot of significant volume, I suppose maybe that is why this token is trading that highly,
03:18because maybe there's just not a lot of volume and not a lot of people selling.
03:22The circulating supply is, you know, not too far away from the maximum and total supply.
03:28So they do have a market max supply.
03:31Go check it out.
03:32Let me know what you think, guys, if this is a project you would want to get involved with.
03:38They say that, yeah, you know, it is one that is meant to bring something unique to the system.
03:46You can download it for Windows, for Mac, and you can test it for also Linux.
03:52And they have some information on their website that links you to their GitHub.
03:57So I hope you who requested in our Discord that we reviewed this, you're happy with the review.
04:04And don't forget to check out links in the description to our books, Tokenized Trillions, Blockchain Applied.
