00:00When you really think about it, Your Majesty,

00:03I think that this is the best in terms of safety.

00:07Saudi Arabia has never been as safe as it is right now.

00:10You always had a little cloud over your head,

00:12and sometimes that cloud was very big.

00:14That cloud is not there anymore,

00:16and we want to keep it that way.

00:17So that's why, tonight, I'm pleased to announce

00:20that we're taking our military cooperation

00:22to even greater heights by formally designating

00:25Saudi Arabia as a major non-NATO ally,

00:29which is something that is very important to them.

00:33And I'm just telling you now, for the first time,

00:35because I wanted to keep a little secret for tonight.

00:38I just heard him say,

00:39Oh, that's nice.

00:41That's another point you won today.

00:43But — and signing a historic Strategic Defense Agreement,

00:47which we just signed a little while ago.

00:49So, congratulations to Saudi Arabia.

00:56A stronger and more capable alliance

00:59will advance the interests of both countries,

01:01and it will serve the highest interest of peace.

01:04And we all share in peace,

01:06and we've never had and been so close

01:09to truly everlasting peace in the Middle East.

01:11All my life, I've heard,

01:13Oh, peace in the Middle East, but it'll never happen.

01:15We did it.

01:16Now we have to make sure it matures properly

01:18and is really as strong as we think it can be.

01:20But we've gotten all good signals.

01:22I want to just thank you for all the help, too.

01:25I want to thank the Crown Prince for the role he played

01:28in the transformational peace deal

01:31that was achieved last month,

01:34and so many of the other things that happened

01:37to end the war in Gaza.

01:39Gaza, while it looks a little bit messy,

01:41it has for many, many years, I will tell you,

01:44many decades, but it's getting very close

01:47to being perfected.

01:49And people are shocked.

01:50And even the great experts that have gone around

01:53criticizing badly every country

01:55and every president and everything,

01:57they're all saying that what's taking place

01:59in the Middle East is a miracle.

02:01They're just calling it a miracle,

02:03and we're going to make it a miracle,

02:04and we're very close to doing that.
