00:00I will sing of my Redeemer and His wondrous love to me.
00:10On the cruel cross He suffered, from the curse to set me free.
00:20Sing of my Redeemer, sing of my Redeemer, with His blood and blood He bridges me.
00:32On the cruel cross He sealed my heart, make the day and make me free.
00:45I will tell the wondrous story, how my loss sustained to save.
00:56In His boundless love and mercy, He the rest of freely gave.
01:05Sing of my Redeemer, sing of my Redeemer, with His blood and blood He bridges me.
01:18On the cruel cross He sealed my heart, made the day and made me free.
01:28I will sing of my Redeemer and His heavenly love to me.
01:41He from death to life had brought me, Son of God, were there to be.
01:50Sing of my Redeemer, sing of my Redeemer, with His blood and blood He bridges me.
02:02All the cross He sealed my heart, and all the cross He sealed my heart.
02:09Paid the debt and made me free, and made me free.
02:17Paid the debt and made me free, and made me free.
02:28Years I spent in manly and pride, Carried God my Lord was crucified.
02:36Knowing God it was for me, even at Calvary.
02:45Mercy there was great, and grace was free.
02:49Pardon there was multiplied to lead.
02:53There my burdened soul of liberty at Calvary.
03:01My God's Word at last I slid, I learned.
03:06Then I trembled at the law I spurred.
03:11Till my guilty soul imploring turned to Calvary.
03:20Mercy there was great, and grace was free.
03:24Pardon there was multiplied to me.
03:28There my burdened soul of liberty at Calvary.
03:35Now I give to Jesus everything.
03:50Now I gladly own Him as my King.
03:54Now my raptured soul can only sing.
03:56Now my rapture soul can only sing.
03:58I thank you, Lord Lord.
04:01Mercy there was great, and grace was free.
04:06Pardon there was multiplied to me.
04:08Pharisee there was multiplied to me.
04:11They my burdened soul of liberty at Calvary.
04:19Oh, the love that through salvation's plan
04:25Oh, the grace that brought me down to bear
04:29Oh, the mighty hope that God is there
04:33At Calvary
04:36Mercy there was great and grace was free
04:42Pardon there was bolted blood to me
04:46There by mercy sold out of liberty
04:50At Calvary
04:53Good day, brothers and sisters.
04:59Today I'm going to be talking about Easter, the resurrection of Jesus,
05:03and that was three days after his death.
05:07To start us off, I'm going to be reading from Mark, chapter 16, verses 1 through 8.
05:16And when the Sabbath was passed, Mary Magdalene and the Mary and brother of James and Salome
05:21had brought three spices, that they might come in anointing.
05:25And very early in the morning, the first day of the week,
05:28they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.
05:32And they said amongst themselves,
05:34Who shall roll away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?
05:37And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away, for it was very great.
05:41And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side,
05:46clothed in a long white garment, and they were afraid.
05:49And he said unto them, Be not afraid,
05:52he is the Jesus of Nazareth, which is crucified.
05:55He is risen, he is not here.
05:57Behold the place where they lay him.
06:00But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter,
06:02that he goeth before you into Galilee.
06:05There you shall see him, as they said unto you.
06:09And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre,
06:12for they trembled and were amazed.
06:14Neither said they anything to any man, for they were now afraid.
06:18As we just read, we saw that they walked into the tomb,
06:22and first they were greeted by an angel.
06:25And she explained to them that Jesus was gone,
06:28and he was risen like he has said many times in his past.
06:33And I wanted to look over John 2.19.
06:38Here it mentions that, Jesus mentions about himself,
06:43that he's going to, that they're going to destroy the temple,
06:46and he's going to raise it up the third day.
06:49And everyone thought he was talking about the actual temple,
06:52which took them many years to build.
06:54Really, he was talking about his body, which was a temple,
06:57and this was what he was talking about,
07:00that he would be crucified, taken down,
07:03and three days later, he would be built up again.
07:06And like we just saw, this came about.
07:10Another important thing about Jesus' rising,
07:12is he defeated death,
07:14and through this, he gives us some sure life with him in heaven.
07:17If Jesus had risen up, then his death would have won,
07:23and we would have no hope in this world.
07:28So him coming back with this truly miracle only come from God.
07:33Now I want to read Mark chapter 16, verses 15 through 20.
07:39And he said unto them,
07:42Go ye unto all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
07:47He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved,
07:50but he that believeth not shall be damned.
07:52And these signs shall follow them that believe.
07:55In my name shall they cast out devils,
07:57they shall speak with new tongues.
07:59They shall take up serpents,
08:01and if they drink any deadly thing, they shall not hurt them.
08:04They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
08:07So then, after the Lord had spoken unto them,
08:11he was received up into heaven,
08:12and he sat on the right hand of God.
08:14And they went forth and preached everywhere,
08:17the Lord working with them,
08:20and confirming the word with the signs of the Holy.
08:23Amen.
08:25But here we see that Jesus finally met up with his disciples,
08:31and he's throwing up to God and to all the world,
08:33and preached the good news about him being resurrected,
08:36and that whoever believes that this was done for them shall be saved.
08:45Finally, then Jesus sends him to heaven,
08:48and he watches over his disciples while sitting at the right hand of God.
08:54And this is also our task today.
08:57We need to be going out into the world
09:01and preaching the good news to all people
09:04so as many souls can be saved as possible.
09:08Amen.
09:08God sent his Son, they called him Jesus.
09:17He came to love, heal, and forgive.
09:24He lived and died to buy my pardon.
09:30An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives.
09:36Because he lives, I can face tomorrow.
09:41Because he lives, all fear is gone.
09:48Because I know he holds the future,
09:55and life is worth the living just because he lives.
10:01Pass me to home, a new born baby,
10:07And feel the pride and joy he gives.
10:14But greater still, the calm assurance
10:20This child can't face on certain days
10:24Because he lives, because he lives.
10:27Because he lives, I can face tomorrow.
10:33Because he lives, all fear is gone.
10:40Because I know he holds the future,
10:47And life is worth the living just because he lives.
10:53And then one day, I'll cross the river,
11:00I'll fight the spinal war with pain.
11:06And then as death gives way to victory,
11:13I'll see the lights of glory,
11:16And the end of how he lives.
11:19Because he lives, I can face tomorrow.
11:26Because he lives, all fear is gone.
11:33Because I know he holds the future,
11:38And life is worth the living just because he lives.
11:46Love released, the Savior gave me,
12:03Christ indeed has set me free.
12:07All the power of sin is broken,
12:11All that sin means is passed from me.
12:17Christ has made me more than conquer,
12:23By his mighty victory.
12:27Now his resurrection power,
12:31Now my spirit strengthens me.
12:37Christ has sinned, condemned at Calvary,
12:42And his power did away.
12:47Now it has no ground within me,
12:51I am free from all its way.
12:56Christ has made me more than conquer,
13:01By his mighty victory.
13:05Now his resurrection power,
13:11Now my spirit strengthens me.
13:16All-sufficient grace he given,
13:42With his power he covers me.
13:47Makes me more than conquer,
13:51And in weakness strengthens me.
13:57Christ has made me more than conquer,
14:02By his mighty victory.
14:07Now his resurrection power,
14:11God my spirit strengthens me.
14:16Lord my spirit strengthens me.
