00:00.
00:16Ah, we have a similar interpretation. Very well.
00:19Dear Mr. President, dear Emmanuel,
00:22I'm very happy to see you.
00:30I'm very happy to see you.
00:34It's good?
00:36We haven't seen you since 2 years.
00:40So it's been 2 years that we haven't seen you.
00:44And, of course, there are many questions that have been accumulated
00:48that we can and that we need to discuss in this direct format.
00:53But I think that, in any case,
00:57our contacts have never ceased during these 2 years.
01:00And, more than,
01:02the volume of our exchanges,
01:05despite the pandemic,
01:07has increased.
01:09If, at the moment of the pandemic,
01:11it had been down to 15%,
01:13but for the 11 first months of the last year,
01:16it had been 17%.
01:20It has increased to 17% and has rattraped the previous level.
01:23And, on the other hand,
01:25our colleagues work actively
01:29at the level of the ministries of the foreign affairs.
01:32And there was a recent meeting
01:362 plus 2,
01:37ministre of the Defense,
01:38ministre of the Foreign Affairs.
01:40And, on the other hand,
01:42we have supported relations.
01:47There have been meetings
01:49in terms of cooperation regionally,
01:54more than 150 meetings.
01:56And, so, it's important for our relations
01:59in the whole,
02:00between our 2 countries.
02:02What I want to highlight,
02:04of course,
02:05I understand that we have a serious concern
02:08in terms of security in Europe,
02:10at the moment.
02:11And, I would like to thank you
02:13for what France is always involved
02:17directly for the important decision
02:20in the matter.
02:22From the beginning,
02:25and it's symbolic
02:30that we will meet precisely today,
02:33because it was exactly 30 years ago,
02:36exactly 30 years ago,
02:38it was signed a document fondateur
02:40on the particular relations
02:42between France and Russia.
02:43And, I think that,
02:44all these years,
02:45as I just said,
02:46France is always very involved
02:50in the decision
02:51which is fundamental
02:52for the European security
02:54as they did their predecessors.
02:57This concern,
02:59for example,
03:01the critique
03:02after the aggression
03:04of the Georgie
03:05on the New York City
03:06in the South,
03:07it was on the transition
03:08to the government
03:09for the agreement
03:11of Minsk
03:12for the Format Normandy.
03:13And, I saw the importance
03:16of the French authorities
03:18the President
03:19for the crisis
03:24that is linked
03:25to the security
03:27in Europe
03:28to be found
03:30And all this is linked to this part of concern about security. It's linked to the Ukraine crisis, the Ukraine crisis in the South-West Ukraine.
03:42At the phone, we have talked enough in detail about all these questions, and I know that you have your observations to do here.
03:51And I'm very happy that we have the opportunity to talk about it in the head-to-head.
03:57Thank you very much, Mr. President. Thank you, Vladimir.
04:02In fact, this day comes to the 30th anniversary of its diplomatic relations.
04:12And I want to say here how the bilateral relations, in fact, has made the development of many subjects,
04:18how we also hope, on the cultural, intellectual, academic, to be able to continue,
04:24like we had launched in the Trianon dialogue,
04:27and to consolidate the economic issues.
04:30But of course, it's the critical situation of Europe
04:34that will today take us to the one and the other.
04:39And I believe that our continent is today in a situation, as you mentioned,
04:43that you have reminded me,
04:45that we impose ourselves to be extremely responsible.
05:17plusieurs échanges téléphoniques, tu l'as rappelé,
06:33Merci.
06:37Merci.
06:39Merci.
06:41Merci.
