00:29Welcome to Rise and Shine, Kapinas.
00:31Welcome.
00:31Morning.
00:33So can you tell us more about what's this all about?
00:36This Christmas Overture.
00:39So a Christmas Overture is a fundraising concert.
00:44Okay.
00:44Together with Hear Life Vireen, it is a non-profit organization based in Austria, founded by Mrs. Maribel Mueller,
00:55the CEO of Met El Cochlear Implant, Philippines.
01:00So here, for all the proceeds, it will go directly to the families with deaf and hard of hearing children and the community.
01:10So this is a charity concert, right?
01:14And what are we looking forward to?
01:17What are the highlights for this?
01:18So we will have song performances and then we will also have piano performances, flute and a string trio.
01:28So yes, so our artists, for the string trio, we have Sir Laura Valentino Cad on the viola.
01:37For violin, we have Ms. Mary Joy San Juan.
01:40And then we have the chalice Sir Irvin Sol.
01:43Then for our flottist, we have Raimundo Sison.
01:46And then for our piano, in addition to, of course, Ms. Shirley Muerta, we have Dr. Abelardo Galang II, International Concert Pianist.
01:54Wow, that's nice.
01:55So where is this going to happen?
01:57This will be held in Manila House on December 1 in Tiguan.
02:01In Taguig City.
02:03And how about the people who are interested to donate or to contribute?
02:06I mean, if they can't go to the concert, I mean, how can they help?
02:09Yes, absolutely.
02:10They can join us and watch for, again, the tickets.
02:14It will go directly to the donation.
02:17And by your presence, it will mean a lot.
02:21And especially, it will make a difference for us, deaf and hard of hearing community.
02:27Ah, okay.
02:28That's nice.
02:29That's good to hear.
02:29So aside from the concert, if they can't go to the concert, if they just want to donate or to contribute, is there a way they can communicate with you guys?
02:37We have the donation channel, right?
02:39So we have a direct donation.
02:42Actually, donations used to be made to the Austrian Bank, but now we have a local option.
02:45Ah, that's good.
02:46So they can find more about that on the HereLife website, www.herelife-vereign.com.
02:54And then if they want to go even further, we also have the Adopt-A-Child Program.
02:59So here you can sponsor one child for a whole year of weekly rehabilitation.
03:03Oh, wow.
03:04So, yes, it's a sponsorship.
03:05So you may contact Ms. Nina Jacob Sullivan.
03:09So how did we prepare for this?
03:11How long we prepared for this concert?
03:14Is this happening every year?
03:16As far as I know, I think this is the first one this year.
03:19But we've all been HereLife partner artists for quite some time.
03:24This is like a special event this year because like, you know, it's the Christmas season and we really wanted to bring like that joy to not only like the people who will be watching the concert, but as well as those who are hard of hearing or deaf, the infants.
03:38We want to bring that joy to them.
03:40Is it just the three of you singing?
03:41No, there are other singers as well joining us.
03:45Just to give you a little background about this, us partnering with HereLife Farine.
03:53Actually, Charlene is our first, our first, yeah, yes.
04:01Our first, the very first person who got the support from our group.
04:08Oh, wow.
04:09Oh, congratulations.
04:10So she's, you know, when she got her implant, she was able to like, learn how to play instruments.
04:18That's nice.
04:18She not only plays the piano, she also plays the violin.
04:22How about for those singers who also want to join this cause?
04:26Are you also welcoming?
04:28Are you open?
04:28Yeah.
04:30Yeah, I believe they can, if they'd like to be HereLife partner artists, they can contact through the HereLife website and their other information channels.
04:37Okay.
04:37Alright, thank you so much for giving us time this morning and for bringing music and hope to children in need this holiday season.
