SIU Welcomes U.S. Delegation Following Reception with Governor Tim Walz

We are pleased to share that we attended the special reception hosted by Governor Tim Walz, celebrating the Minnesota–Switzerland relationship, held at the Zürich Marriott Hotel on November 17, 2025.

During this important event, we were honored not only by the invitation itself, but also by the planned follow-up visit: an 11-member delegation from the United States was scheduled to visit our Zurich branch the next day for further discussions on cooperation and academic development.

This reception highlighted the deepening partnership between the United States and Switzerland — especially in the fields of innovation, education, and sustainable development. We extend our sincere appreciation to the Office of the Governor of Minnesota for this meaningful opportunity to strengthen international collaboration.
