00:00And I think this is the interesting point.
00:02We did see those emails that the Democrats released from Jeffrey Epstein and the correspondent between Michael Wolff, one of the biographers.
00:11And it didn't appear to be any smoking gun, did they, Jono, when it came to Donald Trump?
00:16And I think that this has probably given him a little bit of confidence as well as what Rawia says.
00:22We're seeing these massive cracks open up when it comes to the MAGA base.
00:26Because when Donald Trump was campaigning, he said we would release the Epstein files.
00:31And they haven't been released.
00:33And we've seen Peter Mandelson in the UK, obviously Prince Andrew too.
00:39So lots of people have been involved in the tentacles of the Epstein files.
00:44And there is, you have to question if there's the policy that it may have been to protect the victims,
00:49that that might have been why at that point you were holding back from releasing the full files.
00:54Virginia Dufresne and her statements that are in there say that Donald Trump was nothing but polite to her.
01:00So maybe the point that they were waiting until they were sure they could release these files without there being any backlash,
01:05to make 100% sure that there was going to be no issues, I guess.
01:09There may also be the element that there's other people who are listed in there as well.
01:12We don't know who is in there.
01:13We know Bill Clinton is in there.
01:15We know that Lex Wexner is in there as well.
01:17But you have to worry about who else might be in those documents that's in there.
01:21On the surface, it might look like the reversal is managing the political damage here.
01:25But it might be genuine transparency on the part of Donald Trump to think,
01:29I am safe in here.
01:31I've got nothing to hide, which is what he's reiterated again and again.
01:34And certainly from the leaked documents that you see, you would think that that might be the case.
01:38If the Democrats are picking and choosing what they're releasing,
01:41and what they've released so far have got nothing incriminating,
01:44you then have to wonder what else could possibly be in there that would be incriminating.
01:48Because you would take this as a perfect opportunity to take it down a peg or two,
01:52to hit the administration.
01:53You would assume that that would be the first thing they would release.
01:56If you had full access to it, then you would.
01:58Or you would have looked at it pre-election and said,
02:00the Democrats had access as well.
02:01They could have released it pre-election.
02:03In which case you would have said,
02:04if there's nothing in there that's damning,
02:06it wouldn't have affected the election.
02:07If there was, it would have made a very different election outcome, potentially.
02:12So I think you probably would have released them by now.
02:14So I think we're seeing some actual transparency
02:16on the part of the Trump administration at this point.
02:19Again, he's claimed over and over again, there's nothing to hide.
02:23The part from the Republicans is that they now want,
02:26there's this want to get this transparency through.
02:28And I feel like that appetite for that is what's forcing his hand on this situation.
02:33And there's been so many other things going on
02:34within the camp of the administration right now.
02:36He's gotten to it bit by bit,
02:38but I think this has been the one dog that hasn't stopped barking
02:40throughout the entire presidency.
02:42And we've had the JFK files.
02:44We've had the alien files that he wanted released.
02:47Everything except the Epstein files.
02:50And if you're to believe what the administration is saying,
02:53it was to protect victims up until this point.
02:55So that may be what we're seeing right now.
02:56And I think it's transparency that's required
02:59because otherwise he is at risk of losing
03:01some of his long-term followers.
03:02And you have to say that maybe it's the time.
03:10Let's go.
03:13Mm-hmm.
03:13Mm-hmm.
03:14You're welcome.
03:15You're welcome.
