A deadly Russian missile strike hit the residential town of Balakliia in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region, killing three people and destroying multiple apartment buildings, regional authorities said.
Kharkiv Governor Oleh Synehubov reported that two Iskander missiles—one of them a cluster munition—struck a civilian neighborhood with no military targets in the area.
Footage shows shattered buildings, burned vehicles, rescue crews, and residents clearing debris as emergency repairs begin.
Local officials condemned the attack as another deliberate strike on civilians amid ongoing Russian assaults on the Kharkiv region.
