15:44But the big match in Survivor Series on everyone's mindstand.
15:47Of course, Bret the Hitman Hart putting his belt on the line against paranoid Bob Backlund.
15:52First time ever in the history of the World Wrestling Federation submissions only.
15:57Historically speaking, Gorilla, anything can happen at a World Wrestling Federation pay-per-view event,
16:02and usually does.
16:03And speaking of history, let's take you back right now and bring you up to speed on the history of these two superstars.
16:09It all really began back on December 26, 1983 at Madison Square Garden in the Big Apple, New York City.
16:17Bob Backlund was the WWF Champion and had been for the better part of the past six years.
16:23But on that night, he found himself trapped in one of the most painful submission holes, the camel clutch.
16:29Bob Backlund would not submit.
16:31But his manager, Arnold Skolan, feared for Backlund's future, threw in the towel, and with it, the WWF Championship.
16:39It was a scene that for ten years would be replayed over and over in Backlund's mind.

16:47Backlund did not submit, Arnold Skolan!
16:49First of the end of the race!

16:54Then, this past July, after ten long years of waiting, Bob Backlund was granted a chance to regain what he thought was wrongfully taken from him, the WWF title.
17:07It was a classic battle between the new generation WWF Champion, Bret the Hitman Hart, and the old generation Champion, Bob Backlund.
17:17In the end, Backlund thought he was robbed of the victory by a slow count.
17:21And then, what ensued shocked the entire wrestling world.
17:25Bob Backlund, once renowned for his sportsmanship, snapped!
17:29He lost it!
17:30The match was over, but not in Backlund's suddenly twisted mind.
17:34Backlund caught the champion off guard and stitched in the most painful submission hold of all time, the Chicken Wing Crossface.
17:43Ten years of frustration came out all at once.
17:47Backlund wouldn't let go, and to this day, refuses to believe that he's not the WWF Champion.
17:54In the weeks and months to follow, it became even more clear that Backlund hadn't just snapped.
17:59He lost his mind completely!
18:02First, he challenged anyone to try and get out of his now infamous hold.
18:07If they could, Backlund said he would retire.
18:10From there, he went on a rampage, slapping the Chicken Wing Crossface on anyone he could get his hands on,
18:16including a magazine writer, his former manager, Hall of Famer Arnold Skolin,
18:21Bob Sparkplug Holly, Adam Bomb, Lex Luger.
18:25And just two weeks ago, Duked a Dumpster Drossy.
18:29Then, just last Monday night, on Monday Night Raw,
18:32Bob Backlund met the impressionable 1-2-3 Kid.
18:35Unfortunately, the Kid wasn't resourceful enough to escape the dreaded Crossface Chicken Wing.
18:42Infuriated by Backlund's refusal to release the hold, Bret Hart ran into the ring.
18:48Suddenly, we witnessed a preview of the Survivor Series submission match.
18:53Bob Backlund slapped the Chicken Wing on Bret and just as quickly released it.
19:00All that was, it was a reminder, a reminder of what you're gonna feel at Survivor Series.
19:08Bret Hart had heard enough.
19:10The WWF Champion caught up to Backlund and placed the insane one in his own Sharpshooter.
19:16Bret Hart, Bret Hart is putting a Sharpshooter on Bob Backlund.
19:20That's our call for it.
19:21Bret Hart, look at the-
19:23He just let go.
19:24Bret Hart, can you believe what we just saw?

19:56This weekend on WWF Superstars, Bret Hart and Bob Backlund encountered one another yet again.

21:36The other will be the World Wrestling Federation Champion.
21:42Well, speaking of quarters, Gorilla, the superstar we'll see on our screen here shortly,
21:46weighs more than a quarter of a ton.
21:49He's as big as a house.
21:51And Gorilla, he's stronger than the Republican Party.
21:54Well, he certainly is.
21:55Former WWF Champion, Yokozuna, being led down here by James E. Cornette
22:01and the Senpai, the Master, Mr. Pooji.
22:05You know, if there is a weakness in the arsenal of Yokozuna,
22:09it would have to be maybe perhaps that he is plagued by a severe case, ladies and gentlemen,
22:14of casketophobia.
22:16Well, you know, James E. said he's not, but over the past several weeks,
