MASSIVE AVALANCHE THUNDERS DOWN MOUNTAIN
WITH VID
BY LAKSHYARTHA SHARMA
A massive avalanche was captured thundering down the North Annapurna region of Nepal, sending a towering wave of snow roaring across the mountainside within seconds.
Heavy snowfall and unstable ice layers triggered the sudden collapse, causing huge volumes of snow to surge down the ridge.
The dramatic moment unfolded in an instant.
Emon Hossain from Safipur, Dhaka, Bangladesh, who was visiting Nepal at the time, filmed the avalanche as it unfolded right in front of him.
Fortunately, according to Emon no trekkers were harmed in the incident.
One user commented: "Hope everyone's safe."
