00:01Ace director S.S. Rajamali has shared something truly special, an emotional and unforgettable

00:07moment from the making of his upcoming film, Varansi, starring Mahesh Babu.

00:13At the film's title announcement event, things took an unexpected turn. The team tried to play

00:19the title teaser, but it failed twice. The audience waited, Rajamali looked tense. And then,

00:25on the third attempt, the teaser finally played. As the stunning teaser lit up the screen,

00:30Rajamali let out a sigh of relief and became emotional. Speaking after the successful reveal,

00:36he said, finally, it happened. Some are emotional moments. I don't have a huge belief in God.

00:42My dad said, he, God, would be right behind me and make all things work. I was angry, thinking,

00:49is this how you make it work? My wife loves Lord Hanuman. She treats him as a friend.

00:54I got angry with my wife as well.

00:59Rajamali then revealed something truly exciting, an epic sequence from the Ramayana that he shot

01:04for the film. And he says it's one of the most memorable episodes of his entire career.

01:09He shared, from my childhood, I have told several times that I like the Ramayana and the Mahabharata

01:15a lot. Making Mahabharata was my dream project. Even when I began working on this film, I did not

01:21realize that I would be shooting an important sequence from the Ramayana for this film.

01:25But while writing every scene, I felt like I was walking on air. On the first day,

01:31when I saw Mahesh dressed as Rama and doing a photo shoot, I had goosebumps.

01:36The director revealed they shot this massive episode over 60 days. He said,

01:41We had a great time shooting for this episode. We shot for 60 days. It got completed only recently.

01:48Every day was a challenge, as every sub-episode in the huge episode was like a cinema in itself.

01:53It needed fresh planning. We overcame all of it and completed that sequence.

01:58It will be one of the most memorable sequences of my films.
