00:08Well, Thama is the fifth film in the Madoc horror comedy universe and with this,

00:12director Aditya Sarpodar opens new doors for an emotional love story amid scares and laughs.

00:17Unlike the previous movies, including Sri, Bhedya, Munjian's 3-2,

00:22Thama offers fewer jump scares and laughs.

00:24The romantic angle works in the film's favour and makes it a standalone venture in the franchise.

00:28After back-to-back blockbusters in the franchise, Thama is a letdown and the weakest link.

00:34The pressure of overstuffing the second half with cameos and connecting threads to the future movies

00:39bogs down its true potential.

00:41Thama is a haphazardly created film.

00:43While the movie could have been better, it still has its moments.

01:49Well, Ek Diwane Ki Diwaniyat is not just a love story.

01:53It's an emotional rollercoaster that explores how love can heal and destroy at the same time.

01:57It's a film for those who believe in the madness of romance,

02:00for those who have loved deeply and lost painfully.

02:03Director Milab Zaveri surprises with his mature handling of this emotionally heavy subject.

02:08While the storyline of Ek Diwane Ki Diwaniyat may feel familiar, love obsession, heartbreak,

02:13Zaveri's treatment gives it a poetic flow.

02:16The dialogues, filled with Urdu flair and heart-tugging one-liners,

02:21The pacing, however, could have been tighter in paths.
