00:00A motorcyclist was killed on the spot after the superbike he was riding collided with a car at
00:06kilometre 44 of Jalan Batu Pahat Mersingh on Sunday night. Kluang OCPD Assistant Commissioner
00:12Bahrain Mohamed Noh said the 56-year-old was travelling from Ayer Hitam towards Kluang at
00:18about 10pm when a car coming from the opposite direction suddenly turned right at a junction,
00:23causing the crash. The motorcyclist died at the scene from severe injuries. The driver,
00:30a 74-year-old man, escaped unharmed while his 70-year-old passenger sustained injuries
00:36and is currently being treated at Kluang Hospital. The case is being investigated under Section 41,
00:43Subsection 1 of the Road Transport Act, 1987.
