Thousands of people marched in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia, to demand justice for the 63 victims who died in a nightclub fire last March. This demonstration took place prior to the trial of 34 individuals and three companies accused of the incident classified as the deadliest fire in the country's history. The disaster took place on March 16 at the Pulse Club in the eastern city of Kočani, where a concert ended in the death of 63 people and left at least 200 injured. The prosecutor's office filed charges against the 34 defendants, including the owner of the establishment, security guards, representatives of the security company and the company that owns the club.
