00:32For those who know me, it's going to be a while, sorry.
00:36For those who know me know that I'm an avid reader. Right now it's my turn to tell the story.
00:41So once upon a time ago, when Jordan and I were first starting to date, we went to his grocery shopping together.
00:47I had bought a few things to snack on at the apartment one night, and I went on a mission to the fridge to get my fruit.
00:53And when I opened the door, my fruit was missing. Sweet Jordan here had eaten my fruit.
00:58In the book of Galatians, chapter 5, 22-23, we are taught that the fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
01:10Jordan, I love you with all my heart. You let up my world every day, no matter the weather.
01:17You know when I need space, and you know when I need a hug. I have always said and will continue to say that you have the kindest heart.
01:30You are good to me, and watching you slowly grow in your faith has made my heart happy.
01:34With this vow, I want you to know that I love you dearly, and I vow to never stop loving you for who you are and who you will become.
01:43It's no longer my fruit or your fruit, but it is our fruit, and you can have as much as you want. I love you.
01:53Throughout your marriage, you're going to be making choices. What to eat for dinner? Are you going to make something? Are you going to want to eat?
02:09We all know that Thursdays are already set, and it's tuna melt Thursdays, we know that.
02:14But the other nights have choices. Where are you going to spend your holidays? Will you trust Google Maps, or are you going to trust yourself?
02:24What will you do with your time off? Are you going to be running or resting?
02:30Other options seem so easy, especially at this moment right now.
02:34It's easy to choose to love each other, and you're both doing an amazing job.
02:42Every couple must have a realistic expectation that there may be times when you're going to have to choose to love each other.
02:51When you love each other, care for each other, and remember your vows and covenant to each other, choosing can be much easier.
03:00At other times, you can choose through gritted teeth, and again, that's okay, because you're choosing to love each other.
03:10You should say to each other, I choose you.
03:14Not in a possessive way, but rather to show the commitment and the enduring love that you have for each other.
03:23And when you say, I choose you, you are building on that foundation of a truly lasting relationship.
03:31It is the foundation that we have with God.
03:34We look at Jesus, what he says to his disciples in John 15, 16.
03:38He says, you did not choose me, I chose you.
03:43We all have choices we must make daily.
03:47Some are easier than others, but one that must be consistent is choosing to love each other, and both the good and the bad.
03:57You have loved and cared for each other very well for this long, and I believe you will continue to love and do the same until the very end.

04:19It is a never-ending circle, symbolizing God's infinite love, a love that never fails.
