00:00Welcome to your first BravoCon!
00:02Yeah, this has been awesome. It's been so exciting.
00:04Any crazy run-ins so far with any of the housewives or anything like that?
00:09Really, the entire Bravo universe has welcomed us with open arms,
00:12Southern Charm, Southern Hospitality, got to know really all the cast
00:15and have become really good friends with everyone.
00:17Yeah, nothing crazy, but it is only Friday.
00:20It just got started!
00:23No, this has been really fun because we got to meet a lot of people.
00:25We aren't big TV watchers, so being able to meet everybody in person is what we like to do,
00:29and it's cool to see everybody and meet everybody here.
00:31Awesome. Well, it seems like everybody is in a good place relationship-wise.
00:35I know you just said that you are in a new relationship.
00:37How has that been going? What makes this one different?
00:39It has been so awesome. It's amazing how much you learn to value peace in a relationship,
00:43and someone that loves your family.
00:46She'll text my brothers, my mom more than she texts me,
00:49which is such a great thing, and I've loved every minute of it.
00:52You just got engaged, right?
00:54Yes, thank you. It was so awesome.
00:57Casey is the best thing to ever have in my life.
01:00Her and Blair, I love them so much, and it was just such a fun night.
01:03Have you thought about wedding planning yet?
01:04Casey has. I don't know if I have.
01:06I'm going to leave that up to her.
01:07I had a lot of planning for the engagement, so I said, hey, I'll pick the food.
01:10That's about it.
01:11Exactly. How are things going with you?
01:13What's the living situation looking like?
01:15We're sticking together.
01:16Whether we're at the farm or at our city house, we're just sticking together, mostly in the city.
01:20But having summer in the house has been a lot of fun.
01:22I've seen her grow up. She's seven months, almost seven months now, so she's starting to crawl around, which is crazy.
01:26Yeah, definitely. Are you getting the baby fever?
01:28Oh, for sure. Having two little nieces, it has been an eye-opening experience.
01:32Such a good perspective change on what's really important.
01:35And honestly, yeah, definitely getting the baby fever a little bit.
01:38Oh, yeah.
01:39You know what? Obviously things are going to be changing in your lives in a couple months with your dad.
01:43Yep.
01:44How are you all preparing for that as a family?
01:46Just spending as much time as we can with him and making sure that, you know, we prioritize family time,
01:51spending dinners over there with him, and just leaning on one another for support.
01:55I think that's the central theme of our show before my dad's situation, and even more so now,
01:59is with family you can get through anything.
02:01100%. I agree.
02:02You know, we've been trying to spend as much time as we can with him before he leaves,
02:05but we're going to work through this together.
02:08It's a tough position in our life.
02:09It's a tough spot we're in, but we're going to get through anything.
02:11And with them two and my brother Braden, we're going to work through it all.
02:14So we'll get through it.
02:15Yeah.
02:16You know, how has this changed you as a family, too?
02:18I mean, I think you said on a podcast this is almost kind of like a scarlet letter
02:21that you're going to have to wear for a long time.
02:23Yeah.
02:24But how do you kind of navigate that?
02:25You know, for us, it was going into every single conversation,
02:29whether it was personally or professionally, you could feel it in the air, you know,
02:33regarding my dad's situation.
02:34So to have that closing with the sentencing, it's finality.
02:37It's, hey, this is over now and we can move on and start progressing in our life.
02:41And so I think all of us felt a weight lifted off of our shoulders,
02:44even though it wasn't what we wanted with sentencing.
02:46It's like now we can move forward.
02:48Yeah.
02:49Do you feel like the sentencing was a little harsh?
02:51Yeah.
02:52I mean, it was a tough sentencing, but again, we're going to focus on the positives we have,
02:56the new babies, the engagement, the wedding, and we're going to get through this as a family.
02:59We'll figure it out.
03:00Yeah, definitely.
03:01How is he doing?
03:02He's good.
03:03He's doing good.
03:04He's one of the most, like, optimistic, positive people you ever meet.
03:06And I think that's kept us sane going through all this was him being so just,
03:09hey, you guys are going to get through this no matter what happens.
03:11We're going to work through it.
03:12And he tells us that every morning, every day.
03:14He's like, I'm going to be okay.
03:15It's up to you guys now.
03:16You guys keep everything running back home and I'll be back, you know, soon enough.
03:19I think if you went and talked to him, you wouldn't even realize what he was going through,
03:22just because he's so positive.
03:24And this is what he's kind of prepared us for anyways, for us to kind of step up and take the reins,
03:29which is all what we're doing here.
03:31You have a very tight-knit family, which is very important,
03:33and that you all stick together, which is great.
03:35Which housewives are you hoping to party with tonight?
03:37Oh, I think we're going to end up partying with just about everyone for sure.
03:41I want to meet everybody.
03:42Yeah.
03:43Sounds good.
