00:19Alongside him, I think just moving into third, is the 744 of Saad Soleimani on the TM.

00:25And then we've got Bourdain trying to nip up the inside into that third place

00:29and spooks him.

00:30Oh, Clout very close as he came in to land there.

00:33But Bourdain does move into that third place.

00:36Yeah, it was.

00:37And Kwak did a fantastic job of sneaking up the inside as he tried to make another move

00:40on Borrome there.

00:41He did not have to jump, but he's a wily veteran.

00:44He knew if he just stuck to the inside he'd be okay.

00:47Oh, Borrome comes away.

00:49How did Clout miss Borrome there?

00:53One side of the track to the other.

00:55Borrome goes from the lead.

01:02This is the section we were talking about.

01:05But they are jumping long into the berm, the 450 guys.

01:07Yeah, a lot of mistakes.

01:08You just wonder if it's, you know, the jumps are all have been reshaped.

01:11There's just an inconsistency there.

01:13Because that's been multiple big mistakes by Wood Clout.

01:16And it's usually fairly mistaken for you.

01:18And then Borrome has already had a big crash today.

01:20But I think just some of the newness of the track catching them out.

01:24Whoops are absolutely monstrous.

01:27Look at Jake Cannon on the Kawasaki getting past there with the yellow helmet on the butt racing Kawasaki.

01:32He fell there in the time practice session earlier.

01:34His hand came off the bar and he went down.

01:36But his teammate this weekend, who's been riding in Australia as well.

01:42And then obviously riding here.

01:44Who's that that's gone down?

01:45The 27 of Hugo Manzato on the Husqvarna, the Frenchman.

01:48That's the sand we were talking about.

01:50Unpredictable.

01:51A thin layer of sand on top of a clay base.

01:54Especially the line really hasn't been worked in yet.

01:57So the front tire is going to be pushing all the way through that section.

02:00Well this was a battle that we said would be tight between Clout and Vordon.

02:04Clout got the better start.

02:05Vordon had to fight through a couple of riders.

02:07He's got himself into second.

02:08And the Honda rider looking ready to pounce on the Australian.

02:12Who, when I spoke to him today, he was glad to be back on a 250.

02:16It's been a couple of years, two or three years or so that he was last on a 250.

02:19And on the media day, on Friday, you could see that he'd been a little bit rusty in terms of that 250 action.

02:25Because he was wanting the power to come out to get him drive over the wounds.

02:28It wasn't happening, so he's really having to ride his way back into a little bit of memory muscle on this machine to get familiarity.

02:34Yeah, some of his line choices, you can tell that he's thinking like a 450 rider.

02:38He's kind of cutting a lot of the corners short, drawing really tight apexes.

02:41And that's leaving him short on some of the bigger jumps.

02:44See how quickly the track is drying out as well.

02:47Just starting to slick up as they came in at the end of the landing there.

02:50Over the finish line, triple into this right-hander.

02:52Who is quicker through the woods?

02:54Vordon in second or Clout.

02:56Clout has the advantage that time around.

02:58Able to hop out over the last three.

03:06These two are locked together a bite length apart.

03:28So it went nice and defensive but not so much that he was going to be compromised on the exit.

03:42Yeah, for Perdon here, he needs to be thinking about where can he make a pass.

03:47We talked about this section that they're entering right now.

04:06Remember, he's got a one-point lead over Michael Hicks, who's not here this weekend.

04:16score from Hicks will kind of come into play after the final round a week from now.

04:20So he's got to go out and execute no matter what.

04:30I'm still not exactly sure where the move will come from if he's able to pull it off.

04:44him at the apex that corner, that's another spot.

04:46But it seems like it's going to have to be a little bit aggressive.

05:39Yeah, that was perfectly executed.

05:41Clout's not tripling on to that tabletop.

05:43And you don't think it loses much time.

05:45It's just enough to allow Bourdain to get to the inside.

05:48So, a couple of corners to go then.

06:09races over the course of the weekend jt yeah they seem like the class of the field but if we get

06:13more racing like that the rest of the weekend i think everybody
