Generation Z protesters and representatives of transport workers took to the streets of Lima on Friday (Nov 14) to demand political reform and measures to address insecurity and corruption in the country.

The march, which was blocked by a line of police with shields from reaching Congress, came three weeks after Peruvian President Jose Jeri declared a state of emergency in the capital and the neighbouring province of Callao.
