00:00The man who broke through a crowd and rushed Ariana Grande during a premiere event for
00:07Wicked For Good is now facing charges in Singapore. The incident took place Thursday
00:15at Universal Studios in Singapore. Grande was walking the yellow carpet with her co-stars,
00:21including Cynthia Erivo, when 26-year-old Johnson Wynn suddenly made a run toward Grande.
00:27Erivo stepped between Wynn and Grande, even before security could react. It's a moment
00:34widely reacted to on social media, as Erivo and Grande have had a close bond since the first
00:40Wicked movie. She held Grande close as security pried Wynn away and moved him off the carpet
00:46before the premiere continued as normal. According to NBC News, this kind of stunt appears to be a
00:52habit for Wynn. He posted the video on his own social media account, writing to Grande,
00:58thank you for letting me jump on the yellow carpet with you. His page, which has more than 11,000
01:04followers, shows him rushing other celebrities at concerts, and even the 2023 FIFA World Cup final.
01:11The Australian man is charged with being a public nuisance, according to CBS. He represented himself
01:17in court and pleaded guilty. He is set to appear before a Singaporean judge again on Monday.
