00:00We are just amateur photographers in the Puget Sound and, you know, we enjoy being on the water and going and, you know, photographing a variety of different animals, but orcas are definitely our preference when it comes to photography.
00:30The seal is right here.
00:40Oh, my God.
00:41So when we when we got closer to the whales, we noticed that a hunt was occurring because we saw behavior such as tail lobs and porpoising, which sometimes indicates, you know, them them hunting something.
01:00So we noticed that there was a seal within the photos and the other videos that we were taking.
01:07And after about 30 to 40 minutes of them, you know, engaging in hunting or hunting practice with the seal, it had noticed our boat and made a beeline for us.
01:20Oh, my God.
01:21Oh, you poor thing.
01:24I am shaking right now.
01:26He is not trying to get off.
01:33He is on our boat.
01:37You're good.
01:37Just stay, buddy.
01:42No.
01:51He's still on.
01:52He is still on.
01:56I am definitely team orca.
02:03All day, every day.
02:05But once that seal was on the boat, I kind of turned team seal just because, I mean, you have to when it's on your boat.
02:11Oh, no, it fell off.
02:20He fell in?
02:21He fell in.
02:25No.
02:26Stay on.
02:27Come back.
02:27He's directly beneath the engine.
02:33Come on.
02:33Come on.
02:33Get back on.
02:34Get back on.
02:36Come on.
02:36Get back on.
02:37Come on.
02:38He's on.
02:38Oh, no.
02:39Come on.
02:40Get back on.
02:43He's back on.
02:44He's back on.
02:44He's back on.
02:44There were some moments we could see them go swim past underwater, the back of the boat.
02:57But, you know, they never, they never got close enough to us for us to feel like, you know, there was any danger on their end.
03:08So, yeah, we've been asked a lot if we were scared of the orcas.
