00:22The ASEAN Trade Fair 2025 commenced today, November 14, inside the Kentex Exhibition Center in Ilsen, South Korea.
00:33The trade showcased high-quality food and beverage products from the member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nation or ASEAN,
00:41namely the Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
00:48Through this trade expo, these ASEAN products hope to penetrate the Korean market.
00:53I sincerely hope this event will serve as a set of stock for new collaboration between ASEAN and Korea
01:00and inspire Korean consumers to discover the rich diversity and flavors of the ASEAN cuisine.
01:09There are 80 participating booths in which 10 of these are from the Philippines.
01:13One of their products here is this civet coffee from Davao region.
01:16It is expected that the trade fair will also add more opportunities for the banana and coconut-based products from the Philippines.
01:39Banana is among our top experts here and this is actually the sector that really enjoyed a lot of the benefits from the Philippines-Korea Free Trade Agreement.
01:48We also of course would like to promote our pineapples, mangoes, as mentioned, coconut products, cacao, and coffee.
01:55The ASEAN trade fair 2025 will end on November 16.
02:00This trade fair will also feature seminars and business-to-business meetings
02:04that will further strengthen the relationship between ASEAN and Republic of Korea.
