00:04You know, we're having very clear shots of his chest, of his abs, of his stitching.
00:08So the makeup had to be particularly tight this day.
00:11It was Jacob Elardi that really brought this movie home for me.
00:14That happens for this man, and this is a 10-hour makeup that you're looking at right here.
00:19Guillermo had talked to Jacob and said, look, use that.
00:21Use that hours in the makeup chair to become the creature, to become what you are.
00:25I've done 30 years of creature films, 30 years.
00:28And the way Jacob is articulated slowly, pieces of his body, like they don't belong together is something I've never quite expected to see.
00:38This is the perfect, by the way, the perfect light.
00:41The way he bounces the light on the face is so beautiful because he gets the glistening of the teeth and the eyes.
