00:00It's a hard business and Nico is a friend and we're from the same city.
00:07I just wish him well.
00:09He's done great things for Nike basketball, helped the Dallas Mavericks reach a conference finals and NBA championship.
00:15The hardest part of the business, whether you're traded, you're waived, you're let go, it's never fun.
00:22I mean, for me, it's about basketball.
00:24Obviously, I didn't have an incredibly long relationship with Nico, but from when I knew him, he seemed like a really great guy and we had a really solid relationship.
00:36At the end of the day, I'm here to play basketball and whatever goes on above me, it's above me.
00:41So I can't worry about it too much.
00:44We have to give them something to cheer for on a nightly basis.
00:48So we're going to put our best foot forward.
00:51I just know we will, and I can feel them ready to rally behind us.
00:58They have been through a lot, so we want to give them a great product on the floor.
01:04We have not given the fans a lot to love, and I think we take a lot of responsibility on that.
01:10And having lost the fans a little bit, I just want to look forward and try and continue to give them things to be positive for.
01:15And just show up and be happy that they can support us, and I'm just glad they show up for us.
